I came in to get help & advice for some new walking books. I've got very awkward to feet to fit boots to! Carol was amazing! She listened to all of my requirements carefully, making suggestions & trying different styles. She was extremely knowledgable and endlessly patient! She even found me some boots in the sale with a super discount! I now own the comfiest boots of my life & I would return to the store anytime after a great experience! Highly recommended.

3rd purchase at the Hexham shop
My 3rd purchase at the Hexham shop, this time served by Ryan. He was courteous and helpful during my time there and I was able to take the time I wanted to buy a waterproof jacket. No sense of being rushed and he gave me advice when I asked.

Neckbuff to hiking boots
Visited Millets in Hexham for a neck buff. Spotted some nice high cut hiking boots on offer. Greeted warmly by Jennifer, who hoot her colleague, Carol to help me. Carol brought out my size in 3 design, plus an additional size in one (she was unsure of the cut of the boot). Having tried out all 3, discarded one design; Carol encouraged me to walk around the store, wearing each pair, to determine comfort and fit. I decided on the Berghaus Supalite Tech, added the neck buff, some wax and socks. Wore my new boots for a 11k hike; super comfortable. Thank you Carol and Jennifer; Millets is now my store of choice in Hexham for outdoor kit.
