Minted Can't Get it Together

Well, after arriving late, I received my cards from Minted. The cards were great, but they shorted me five envelopes. Really? This company has beautiful cards, but that doesn't matter when the deliveries are late and there are not enough envelopes. Granted the customer service team refunded my expedited shipping fee plus 25% off my order. Thank you, for that Minted, but I would've rather had my cards on time with enough envelopes.

Hideous company

Second year in a row, order very late. Too late for Christmas delivery, even though ordered on 12/11. Hideous customer service. Go with Shutterfly. They are head and shoulders above.

Late Christmas Cards, Horrendous customer care

I ordered Christmas cards on 12/8 and paid for expedited delivery. They were supposed to be delivered today (12/15). Instead they haven't even shipped. Their customer service is a joke. I waited over an hour for their agent to get on a chat. I must have turned away for a moment. When the agent finally hopped on the chat, I didn't respond fast enough so she cancelled the chat and told me to call back. Minted used to be very good. Not anymore. They suck.

Minted is terrible

I have ordered from Minted over the past few years. Why do I keep torturing myself dealing with this company! I am done. If you go on there website as of today 12/16 it says if you order cards and rush them you will get them by the 19th. I ordered them on the 4th and was supposed to get them on the 14th then the 17t then the 19th and now the 20th. Do not believe what they are marketing in terms of timeframe! Tired of waiting weeks for Holidays cards and them changing the dates constantly. Expedited shipping is a farce. No one is reaching out to me and there is no way to call the company. Good Riddance.

Minted's printer error results in no holiday cards to be sent out

My holiday cards (the ones I received a proof of) were sent to me with the back photo and text printed upside down! It's now takinng over a week for them to correct and send me back my cards. I likely won't get them in time for the holidays. I've emailed with many different customer service reps but none really seems to have any control over the process or really care about my problem.

Customer Service Does Not Exist

***UPDATED - ALTHOUGH MINTED.COM REACHED OUT HERE FOR MY CONTACT INFORMATION TO FIX THE ISSUE THAT WAS A FARCE. THEY DID NOT REACH OUT AND INSTEAD SHIPPED THE DUPLICATE ORDER AND CHARGED US THE NEARLY $400 I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CANCEL FOR DAYS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY***

I'm on hold trying to discuss an issue with my order and have been waiting for almost 3 hours with no live person, always being told "there are more than 10 callers ahead of you." I've tried the chatbot on Minted.com and even there no person joins the chat. I reached out on Instagram and they responded: "Our team would be happy to assist you with this! If you could DM us the email associated with your Minted account, we’ll have someone on our team reach out to you." That was an hour ago and still nobody. I get it's a busy time of year but 3+ hours without being able to speak to someone is terrible customer service.

Still waiting for my cards

I ordered my cards on 12/3 with priority upgraded shipping to ensure delivery on 12/15. Today is 12/15 and my cards are "still in production." Their customer service phone number doesn't work (I've been disconnected twice) and have been waiting to talk to an online agent for over 30 minutes, with no avail. Have been a minted customer for 10 years but will NEVER use them again. I can't even talk to anyone to ensure my cards will actually make it to me prior to Christmas. What a waste of money and time.

Do not recommend

I have been using Minted for years, and the past two years, their service has gone downhill. I placed an order for holiday cards on December 5th. I was given an estimated delivery date of December 15th, which is today. I checked the status of my order two days ago, where I learned my order had been delayed, and they were giving me a new estimated delivery date of December 17th. Unhappy with this, I reached out to customer service. I was told I'd be given upgraded shipping, and would still receive my order by my estimated delivery date. I received no updates after that, so I contacted customer service again this morning. I spoke with someone named "Karen" who was less than helpful. They told me my order is being produced, and I would receive a more accurate delivery date once it's finished. I asked what could be done to make it right, and they just kept telling me that's why I received upgraded shipping. Then they stopped responding. I waited 10 minutes without reply. Then I said I didn't appreciate being ignored, and they immediately ended the chat. I attempted to contact customer service again, but have been waiting over an hour, and have not been connected with anyone. So, not only do I not know when my order will be delivered, but I was treated badly by customer service. There was no empathy or resolution, and then they ended the chat. Last year, my order was delayed as well. I do not recommend this company if you want to receive holiday cards on time, or customer service reps who will help. Save yourself the time, money, and stress and order someplace else.

Cannot trust this company. Their estimated delivery time is a big LIE.

Spent quite a bit on holiday cards this year and paid a lot for rush order only for my cards to take nearly two weeks to print. I will never ever use Minted again. What a waste.

Terrible Experience

After placing my order on 11/30/25 for Christmas cards, proofing and approving the product 12/1/25, selecting priority shipping to arrive by 12/12/25…I did not receive a single correspondence after the proof.
I called on the morning of 12/12 checking on the order. On the 42 minute call with Katia, she informed me my cards were being printed that day and I would have them by that evening…I responded the “same day that seems unrealistic” but she said we are working 24/7. I received an “canned” email stated the request to deliver as soon as possible. As I didn’t receive the cards on 12/12, I called early morning 12/13…during the 1hr 51min call I did speak to a supervisor Isaac…he informed me the cards haven’t been printed but he would put in request to find out the status because they have no way to speak to “production”??? Towards the end of the day on 12/13 I didn’t receive any new information…another call. This time speaking with Maraviha on the 44 minute call I was told there was a problem with the foil color and they “should”ship on 12/16. The order had to be canceled due to late arrival, hence the reason I Paid for Expedited Shipping to assure I would have them in time. Extremely disappointing, there is no communication with in this company, outsourced printing. Some of the worst run around ever!!! If you need products on a time frame, This Company Is Not For You.

I canceled my order right away, but when I went to place a new order, the system wouldn’t let me use my “first time customer 20% off” coupon again. I have been ordering from minted for over ten years. Not only are they late this year, but I have yet to be able to speak to a human being. This after hours of waiting on line on chat and the telephone. When one spends over $900 on cards, one expects much better customer service. At this point, I do not believe I will ever use them again.

Problems with timely delivery and quality

I ordered holiday cards and paid $34.95 for expedited shipping with delivery date of Weds Dec 10. Instead they arrived very late at night on Thurs Dec 11. This has pushed my mail date out to Monday Dec 15 given post office hours. I tried to contact customer service to request a refund of the express shipping fee but it's impossible to reach anyone - the chatbot puts you in a queue and drops you after an hour. (That's a new one on me - the chatbot hangs up on you!) this seems to be the only place I can register a complaint. I would add that I also paid extra for heavier card stock (more than $5 per card!) because in past order from minted I've found the cards flimsy and scuffed. These are more substantial, but the edges are ragged and there are shreds of microscopic debris all over the cards from the trimming process. Just disappointing for the cost.

EDITED TO ADD:
The reply below from minted is completely specious. No one has "reached out to me." By what means exactly will someone be "reaching out to me" and when? I think some poor junior level person (or another bot) at minted is just cutting and pasting this message and no one has any intention of replying. If a live human at minted is reviewing these, please reply again to explain exactly how you intend to contact me and how you intend to resolve the issues which I have clearly stateed in my original review. Thanks.

I should know better

I should know better - minted is completely incapable of printing and shipping orders in a timely manner. What good is receiving Christmas cards but no envelopes? Envelopes say "ready to ship" for days but sit there. Paying for expedited shipping is completely misleading.

On hold for 4 hours and get hung up on

Placed an order on 12/3 and to be delivered on 12/12. That’s fine. But 12/11 comes around and nothing has changed with my order, it hasn’t been made, hasn’t been shipped. Get a notification that it will now be delivered 12/15. And then another saying 12/17. I called 12/12, was on wait for 4 hours (have screenshots of the time on hold). Finally a lady answers and I explain I would like to cancel my order due to it be delivered so late now, and she hangs up on me! It was 100% not me since my phone was on speaker and I wasn’t touching the phone. So angry I waited 4 hours on hold to be hung up on. Please go to another business, this one is awful with terrible customer service.

Don’t waste your money on expedited shipping

We ordered Christmas cards and paid $34 for the most expedited shipping. It was ordered on Monday and the cards were supposed to be here on Friday. Come Friday,when I was supposed to receive my order, the status was that our cards were still printing. Expedited shipping is a rip off. At this point we will likely receive our cards when the free shipping was expected to arrive (Sunday-Monday). There is nothing holding a company accountable for honoring expedited shipping.

Expedited Cards Arrived Without Envelopes - Complete Waste of Money

I ordered cards on Dec 5th and expedited the cards. But while the cards came, the addressed envelopes did not! This defeats the entire purpose of the order; I cannot use cards without envelopes to send them in. The entire process turned into a nightmare that consumed three days just to discover their system cannot process ampersands. After an hour on hold the advice was to wait a day, clear cookies and try a different browser - I tried three browsers including Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. I called back and they said to use a different card - I tried with three different cards: Amex, Visa, and Mastercard. Nothing worked. The third try avised to try a different platform - I tried my iPhone, ipad and laptop - all failed! On the fourth day finally, customer service identified the system balks at ampersands - why don't they know that! They promised to expedite my order to compensate for the delays, yet while they rushed the cards, they forgot the envelopes entirely, rendering the expedited shipping fee and the cards themselves worthless.
The incompetence is staggering. Multiple platform failures, payment processing errors, and then fulfillment mistakes compound into an experience that wastes both time and money. They expedited half an order.
I paid extra for expedited shipping expecting a complete, functional product by Thursday (instead of the Monday it would have been if the system worked); instead, I have unusable cards and no way to send them. This company failed at every stage of the transaction from website functionality to their advice on trying useless solutions. Run far, Run fast. There are other companies out there!

Will still probably never use this company again.

FINAL UPDATE:
After a full week of emails, daily attempts to chat (no human), daily attempts to call the 800 number and being on hold for hours (again, never got a human) -- ONLY after leaving an honest review on TrustPilot about a terrible CS experience and giving updates about how no one follows up -- I *finally* have a refund. Moved Minted up a star, but will still be in no hurry to shop with them again. Seriously, figure out if you want to stay in business.

UPDATE:
Someone emailed to "make things right" by "sending new cards." It's a CHRISTMAS CARD, and CHRISTMAS IS NEXT WEEK. No, I don't need new cards, I need a refund.
Of course, again, no one has responded!

I ordered new cards from Paper Culture -- they are beautiful, came quickly, and were cheaper than Minted. Lesson forever learned, and I may never see the $100 I apparently donated to Minted.

Honestly this company should be sued for fraud, looking at all of the terrible experiences here. I'll be contesting the charge with my credit card company, but they may not remove it since a product (very poor quality, not how it was supposed to look) shipped.

Ordered holiday cards, and they came and looked terrible, the text did not look like it was supposed to, nor how it looked when I input the order.

For a solid week, I've daily tried to get someone to help with this mistake. I've emailed, I've "chatted" with a bot, I've called the 800 number. When I "chat" with a bot, they say they're "experiencing longer wait times than usual" and that I just need to sit there and wait, but I can't close the chat box, or I'll "lose my place in line." Fast forward 2 hours, still nothing -- no one is answering the chat.

When I call, I'm on hold for SEVENTY FIVE MINUTES and all they do is keep telling me there are "more than 10 people in line ahead of me."

No one has ever, even once, responded to my emails. I've sent them daily.

Disputing the charge with my credit card company now -- but if you value your time and sanity, do not bother using this company.

Minted is "replying" to negative reviews here saying that someone will be reaching out -- lol.
Trustpilot asked me to send my info so Minted could know I was a real customer and respond, so I sent everything -- order number, name, email etc., and *shocker,* no one has reached out to me!
