So we recently purchased a new Renault 5 from Mark Sherwood at this garage. What a fabulous experience. I'm not sure where to begin.
From our initial enquiry through to delivery of our new car was made easy with Mark's help.
Nothing was any trouble for him. On the day of our new car being picked up Mark went through all of the car and features, in detail with me and ensured that I understood everything.
I have purchased several vehicles in my life, but without a doubt Mark was the most honest and genuine person that I have ever bought a car from.
All I can say is Thank You to you and your team!!! AND I LOVE THE CAR

Took my car in for an MOT and Service a month early as March was a busy month for me.
Mitchells always make you feel like a valued customer however long you have been using them. I bought my car 2 years ago...and still, to this day, when I have to go in, im still that valued customer.....thats a good feeling
The guys are always polite, knowledgeable, helpful and treat you in the manner you would want. There is no judgement, even if you ask questions that you think are stupid to ask..lol....they always give you the respect you expect.
As I arrived I mentioned I had to have my car back for the afternoon school run...no problem it will be sorted, and it was !! MOT and Service carried out, failed mot initially, they called to inform me of the problem, with a total price. Told them to go ahead and the work on my car was sorted there and then, no need to book it back in for the repairs.
Thank you to each and every one of you involved in the work on my car and, of course, to the gentleman on the phone informing me along the way what needed to be done.
Also thank you for the follow up call just to check in that everything was OK since the work was carried out....at that point was when I asked my " stupid" question...lol
Thanks once again and look forward to seeing you all next year for my MOT...

The best car sales experience ever - nothing was too
much trouble for Mark Sherwood - numerous quotes requested and given - advised us to wait for the zero percent Renault deal - we were able to go ahead with a new Captur with just a £500 deposit - three year contract with ten thousand miles per year - so glad we changed to Mitchells in Lowestoft

From the first visit, right through to the end we had a great experience with Mitchells. We ordered a new Renault 5 in September ‘25, Mark was very helpful and patient with us especially as I couldn’t make up my mind on a colour! We were kept fully informed of the status of our order, and were expecting our new car to be ready in January’26 but we took delivery of our car on 8th November ‘25!! On the day of collection Mark went through everything with us , making sure we were happy with how to use all the functions of the car before we left. Fantastic service, thank you, we love our new Renault 5!

Absolutely fabulous customer service, took my Dacia Spring in today to have a recall attended to and have mud flaps fitted.
This is good old fashioned service taken to another level. I couldn’t recommend a dealership more highly! Will certainly use Mitchells in the future.

Had my kadjar just under a year, it was given a one year warranty which I thought was really good. Engine is making a loud ticking noise intermittently, having repaired many many cars over the years I’m thinking it could be coming from a hydraulic valve lifter. Now my warranty runs out in a weeks time so I thought I would get to the garage ASAP. Have to say the receptionist was most sullen, would have been nice if she had greeted me with a good morning Mr ****** the chap sitting next to her just looked up I smiled he said nothing or smiled I felt quite uncomfortable explaining the problem. Receptionist said highly unlikely it will get looked at until after warranty expires, she said the mechanic was snowed under. (I’m sure they have more than one mechanic) I said it’s now booked in so if it’s sorted after expiry date it should be ok. She said no if they can’t do the job before expiry it would be chargeable. I have worked in retail sales and repairs so I’m quite well up on this sort of thing. Note to staff it costs nothing to smile. I will review again after I get my car back.
Problems resolved, staff were very friendly and apologetic. Car booked in next month under warranty. Perfect! Well done Mitchell’s 👍

For 25 years I've used Mitchells for all my Renault vehicles old & new, Andy the service manager & Trudy are great at what they do, go way above most dealerships and then some more.
