Quick reply to my queries; great service; product quality matched expectations; delivery as planned.

I paid extra for Priority for the item to arrive before a certain date. Unfortunately, they delayed the manufacturing of my item, and then sent it with DHL ecommerce courier, which is run by EVRI.
They notified me of a delivery attempt yesterday between 11:00-20:00, 9h, of which I waited patiently at home for with no sign. I have been in contact with them and they have let me know that they do not know where the parcel is.

This is the second time I am using MIXAM, and I am extremely disappointed with their service.

Paying extra for Priority means nothing, do not waste your money. They will send the item with the worst courier possible and lose it.

Very helpful all the way through the process

I placed an initial order but when it arrived it was damaged and I wasn't pleased with the quality. I reached out to customer support who immediately resolved the issue for me.
I felt after the service was so good that I would give them another go, and I'm so glad I did as the second order I placed was fantastic. I'm so pleased with the order and the level of service! Would definitely recommend!

I went through the entire process of creating a PDF using their template, only to discover the German site refused to ship to Portugal (after going through the entire checkout process I might add) and I had to use the UK one, fine.
That meant different materials were available and therefore I had to decide once more on all the materials and whatnot, fine.
After going through that I held my breath and discovered they do indeed ship to Portugal but at a price that is much more than expect, but Portugal is on the edge of the continent and I know Amazon and co set unreasonable expectations for shipping price, fine, it's still an okay deal.
Then after being delayed by a week to print, the shipping is then delayed even further only for me to receive a message from UPS saying I'll need to pay the customs duty for import into the EU, something I had expected would be covered given the shipping cost so this was a nasty surprise.

I'm currently waiting for the photo album to clear customs and depending on the cost it will come out more expensive than Canva, which is already within the EU, and I will be using in future instead.

I just hope the quality of the product makes up for the headache especially since this was originally intended as a gift for a since past birthday.

TL;DR their German site doesn't ship to the EU, but high shipping costs and delays + customs duties for shipping into the EU from the UK. More than Canva all told?

The delivery was relatively quick and I was updated all the way through.

I have been a repeat Mixam customer for several years and spend hundreds of pounds with the company each year. Until now, I have consistently recommended Mixam to colleagues, friends, and students based on my previous experiences.

Unfortunately, my most recent experience has completely undermined that confidence.

An invoicing error occurred and, while mistakes can happen in any organisation, what followed was far more concerning. The issue took an unacceptably long time to resolve, communication was poor throughout, and emails frequently went unanswered. Rather than receiving clear updates or proactive support, I was left repeatedly chasing information and attempting to establish the status of my order myself.

The project was ultimately delivered well past its intended deadline. What should have been a straightforward job completed within two weeks ended up taking almost a month. For a time sensitive project, this delay significantly reduced the value of the final product and created unnecessary stress throughout the process.

The most disappointing aspect was the lack of accountability. A straightforward print job became unnecessarily complicated due to administrative confusion, poor communication, and a failure to resolve issues in a timely manner. As a paying customer, I do not believe it is reasonable to spend this much time pursuing responses and trying to resolve problems that should have been handled internally.

This experience has fundamentally changed my opinion of the company. After years of recommending Mixam, including to my own students, I can no longer do so. If responsiveness, professionalism, clear communication, and reliable delivery times are important to you, I would suggest considering alternative printing companies.

Very easy brochure spec selection and artwork upload process - we ordered a hard back book where we uploaded print ready artwork. Very quick communication from the team with any queries we had. Client very pleased with the quality. I have no complaints and would definitely use again for a product like this!

Great quality books with excellent colour reproduction. Customer services were also very helpful in sorting a couple of issues that I had setting the files up.

Always a good quality product with timely delivery and a good price. Communication could be better (thus only four stars).
