Placed order on MM0CUG website for the 'winched tilt mechanism' in the spring of 2024...
Had to chase to find out why no response to order.
Excuses offered, then delays, waiting for materials to arrive etc...
Then silence and no delivery. Thankfully because I had paid with credit card managed to get refund...
Very disappointed, NOT a happy customer!

Ordered modest Aluminium mast April 2024 via mm0cug website (which makes no mention of Ecomast Ltd or any limited company, ie personal trader). Poor comms from him but eventually promised delivery in August 2024; surprise surprise, nada..I cancelled order October 2024 under consumer regs and demanded refund...he phoned me!!!..more promises to deliver November but again...nil and he went under cover. So sued him personally in Aberdeen Sheriff Court April 2025 (used their Simple Procedure, did not need external lawyer), obtained judgment (called a Decree) June 2025. Need total personal creditors of at least £5000 to make him personally bankrupt..shame..looks like the VAT Man liquidated his company suspect he was not paying his company's dues, hope the liquidator applies to disqualify him from holding any director positions in the future..and investigate possible wrongful trading under section 214 Insolvency Act 1986...and more (taking money when you know and have no genuine belief you can deliver is ******)

January 2025 phoned Garry MM0CUG asking for advice. Febuarary I placed my order. March 13th I received a request for over £1400. this was duly paid to him as requested. I received back from this Scottish THIEF a message saying my bill is paid in full.. Weeks turned into over a month still no response to my calls or texts. In May I was searching his name on the web and discovered he went into LIQUIDATION this court case was dated early April. There was a mention of Creditors to apply to that Court.. I read the post in May That date to apply had elapsed. I missed out big time thanks to this Scottish Ba55tard. Not just me he has conned KEEP AWAY if he ever resurfaces from the ABERDEEN area.

I paid for a mast 5 mths ago MM0CUG trading name, but ECOmast who invoiced me and taken my money with a promise of delivery in 2mths. My mast has never been delivered, no email, no messages for weeks also tried calling mobile number. Just checked companies house seems with an action proposed to strike off EcoMast as out of compliance business "big red warning notice". Main number is also disconnected, although they appear online and trading and happy taken orders, I have assumed the lack of communication from MM0CUG / Ecomast means I have lost my money and will never see my mast. Very sad thinking this was a genuine business supporting the ham radio hobby. I was hoping to be written a very different review.

Do not buy from this company, bought a mast nearly a £1000 and it got slightly damaged. I emailed numerous times and phoned without any contact at all ! I even tried contacting him on his social media account, months went by and finally got in touch to say he would repair then he went silent again I gave up after 12 months of trying to get a reply from him!

Failed to deliver after texting to say it was on its way, would NOT answer the phone to myself, this was over a period of 2 months.
Had to go through Paypal to get my money back(seller also ignored Paypal) 2M0LNF-Ian Balloch.
