My new Royal Alloy
I had my new Royal Alloy scooter delivered today ( to Cornwall ) and I am over the moon with it, not only the scooter but the whole experience from ordering to the delivery was excellent. Kevin was brilliant and kept me up to date with everything, and the delvery driver was so friendly, even after driving over 300 miles to get it to me. I really can't fault the whole experience. A***** from me
New bike day!
Took ownership of my (nearly)new 650 VStrom today. Great choice of bikes. No pushy salesmen. Thanks to Kevin (cool hand Luke😊)for fabulous relaxed service and rapport. I would not hesitate to recommend.
Cheers Andy.
Bought a new V-Strom DL1050
Bought a new V-Strom DL1050 from Millenium Motorcycles off Jay and I have to say what a pleasant experience it was, from start to finish and to picking the bike up, to be quite frank Jay and Gary were superb, no pressure at all and they couldn't do enough, It is a long time since I have been treated so well by a dealership. It was raining when I went for the bike, they even offered to run it home in their van for me. I have nothing but praise for the way I was treated and how the bike was prepared. A big thank you to you both
Lemon KTM 1290 SAS
Bought KTM 1290 SAS - 2018 in Millennium motorcycles St Helens near Manchester at beginning of February 2024.
Issues I had since then:
Leaking both forks
Dead battery
Valve clearances out of spec despite Millennium motorcycles claiming the service has been done!!
Electrical faults - specifics of the bike - now I know what to do to not to have them
Crankshaft position sensor failed
Air temperature sensor failed
Rear tyre worn after 500miles - Millennium motorcycles claiming rear was fine so they only swapped front
Rear sprocket and chain worn so bad that I had to replace it after 500miles too
Clutch finished after less than 4k miles
Brake fluid dark despite "service"
All of this in 4 months since bike purchase.
So far done:
Major service including valve clearances (Oil, coolant, oil filter, brake fluid, brake pads rear, valves, air filter, spark plugs)
Forks oil and seals and bushes
Crankshaft position sensor replaced
Air temperature sensor replaced
Rear tyre replaced
Chain and sprockets replaced
Clutch replaced
Cracked fairing replaced
Unfortunately I have to consider I was sold a lemon, I cannot name it differently...
Only now, after spending about £2500 extra (bought the bike for 8K) I can say the bike is in top shape and behaves as expected. Avoid at all cost...
Good Bike, Dreadful Service
I have just bought a machine from Millenium, which was a catalogue of errors unfortunately. Shambles.
1) I bought the bike remotely, as in over the web for delivery in the UK.
2) I agreed payment terms (amount and method) over the phone and paid a £500 deposit. Then, when attempting to pay the full balance a week later, was informed they did not accept the payment method we had agreed a week earlier? I spend a few days moving money around to correct.
2) The sales person, who assured me that they would be my main point of contact throughout the sale, left Millenium? Although being told this was a planned exit, there was no apparent hand over of my case, no one knew what was happening with my bike, and I had to chase over a few days to confirm a) they had received all my money and b) confirmation of delivery.
3) Delivery day happened - the bike is excellent condition as advertised, but they forgot the Kawasaki panniers
4) I received a same day phone call to assure me this would be rectified promptly. Fair enough.
5) With no resolution, I call them a week later to see where the panniers are? "As I'm sure you can understand, we need to have the right boxes to put them in". Told it would be another week. It would be fine, except I was speifically assured it would be a priority for them to resolve?
6) About 4-5 days later the panniers arrive but the ignition key does not unlock them? The only way this could be the case is if they have sent the wrong panniers.
7) To rectify, I had to post my second bike key back to Millenium so they can identify the correct panniers and rearrange delivery + collection.
8) Overall - Delivery complete about a month late overall, and I've dealt with about seven individuals to get it sorted.
I’m not angry, I’m just disappointed.
Excellent service.
Only passed my bike test back in October, since then I’ve been to a few motorcycle stores for my PPE. I have found the perfect place, nothing is a chore to these guys, they give you all the time in the world to browse their range. They’re more than happy to help and offer experienced advice. I won’t shop anywhere else for motorbike equipment. I can’t really comment on motorbike sales. Thanks guys, see you soon.
I’ve just picked up a Kawasaki gtr1400…
I’ve just picked up a Kawasaki gtr1400 from Millenium. They were great from start to finish. John was a star for getting the bike ready for me. It’s my second bike from millennium and I highly recommend them.
Place not big enough for stock
Paid this place a visit last week
To look at some bikes, not really possible as the place is just crammed, difficult to even walk between the stock, the shop was no better with stock all over the floor. Cafe was good though.
Went in
Went in, spoke to Allen. Checked out a few bikes had absolutely no pressure during the sale. I decided to buy a zx12r. It was immaculate. Staff throughout the store were happy and jovial with all customers. Really nice honest business that I will go back to in the future when I need another bike. They sorted delivery for me, bike was well strapped down and handled by delivery driver as though it was his own personal bike. Thank you Millennium and to your delivery driver
Purchased a K1600GT from Millenium
Purchased a K1600GT from Millenium, some initial delays due to issues with the ABS pump, but the communication from John and Mike was top notch.
They never over committed and kept me in the loop with the issues at every step of the way.
A great purchasing experience and they offered me a good price on the Part Ex.
Really like this Company, great staff service knowledge and lots more.
Millenium Motorcycles Aspinall Place, Thatto Heath, St Helens WA9 5PE, thank you so so much to Jonny, Gary and the team for doing my MOT today, on my Suzy Hayabusa. Very knowledgeable and truly honest team, and while I waited for the MOT, I went upstairs to the 'bikers bistro', which was amazing. Large spacious area, for a full English breakfast with nice views too, and again great atmosphere - and if you don't wish to eat, plenty of comfy settees to wait. I was amazed how busy this bistro/restaurant was at Millenium Motorcycles, then I realised that many people pop in off the road for breakfast/lunch or even carry-out.
Anyway, great team, they have total passion for motorcyling, and a great place too with several departments including the latest dream Hayabusas (dream on andy!). I am so glad that I have been able to find a great motorcycling place for everything from sales, service, parts, and massive massive display of biker gear etc etc, and best of all you can even park on the premises (if you are in a car), and sit in the sun on benches while you wait too. See you again next year or before. Andrew W (Haydock)
Disgusted and never wanting to deal with them again
Really disappointed since my first encounter with the staff. I went with my friends to look at motorbikes in order to know my future potential bike and ended up going downstairs to the used bikes. I was really excited and wanted to sit on potential future bikes to get an idea of what I would like later on in the future. A member of staff came downstairs and said: "are you gonna sit on all the bikes? We have to clean them you know".
Really disgusted with the treatment, then they expect me to buy from them?
I ended up buying a bike from them even though I did not want to deal with them from my first encounter, and had issues from there onwards. I call for parts for the motorbike and every time a member of staff transferred me through parts, they did not answer, called 3 consecutive days and the guy said they transfer me through and no one picks up. My name and number was taken twice. I finally say the parts I need and they were supposed to call me back in regards to prices and receiving the parts. Now it's June 2022 and I am still waiting for a call for the parts I requested in October 2020.
I could tell the staff did not like me and whether there's discrimination for gender or nationality or both, I don't know but everyone else that has visited your store had a great experience and were surprised of the service I received. Some people even bought multiple bikes from your store and had no issues. Yet when I call I can tell from the tone of voice and literally the treatment in person and my details being taken twice whilst the call did not go through the sales parts, and taken one more time after specifying the parts needed.
I am really disappointed, disgusted, angry that I even bought the bike from you and would never buy a bike from you ever again even if you give me a motorbike for free, I don't want to see you, hear from you or have anything to do with you, so you understand the level you get a valuable customer to hate you, because you just don't care.
If I need to buy anything or see any motorbikes, I will travel even to another country, just so I don't deal with you. I hope others don't need to go through what I had to go through.
H2 Ninja
Bought a H2 ninja ,had mot and was test riden was told all good to go, went to pick bike up in next morning and engine was hot, I asked why it’s hot to the BS salesman who is utterly unprofessional by the way .. said it’s what we do take it out for a ride before we sell check leaks oil etc, I said why when it was out late yesterday after passing mot ? I said it’s a white tiled floor you would see any drips after it standing all night. This was obviously total BS as Gary Davies told me the real reason after coming from his office was because wasnt running right, when they started it that morning,Totally blatant lies by Chris n had no idea about the issue as Gary had only just informed him and me it was miss firing so usual just BS , Only through the sheer professionalism of Gary’s I spent £20k on this bike he is a true asset too millennium.. if it was down to Chris the clown I would have walked away absolutely. No peoples skills typical used car sales man Plus total liar . He even promised he would ring day before n let me know when pick bike up and pay but as usual nothing, Since this awful experience my friend went in looking at the supercharged kawasakis and mentioned to the salesperson who was unfortunately chris asked about the engine etc n said his friend had just bought one from them
Here which Chris called me a unsavoury names very professional indeed I must say … Liars hate being caught out! Ime taking this further now after hearing this info of my mate , please avoid this company unless you are dealing with Gary Davies or Tony melia at all costs.
great service from marc did everything…
great service from marc did everything over the phone
kept me informed and helped when ever i needed it .
loving my new bike, thanks for all your help Carl
Keeway RKF 125cc
I recently bought a Keeway RKF 125cc from Millenium.
When I went in and had a look at it, I was open and honest that I'd put a deposit down on a Yamaha MT 125cc at a another dealer.
The other dealer had no idea when the bike was going to be delivered and I was no wiser running into September.
Millenium assured me they had RKF stock ready to go, so I cancelled the MT125 order and put my deposit on the RKF.
I then threw a spanner in the works and asked for the flashy green colour.
Millenium did the business and got me the colour I wanted.
I've had it less than a week now but love it so much I've put 215 miles on the clock.
Thanks again to the two guys for sorting out my first bike.
I should have done it years ago.....massive grin on my face every time I get on it!
Avoid like the plague
Such a scam of a company I went to buy a bike I found a bike I liked rang them up and was told someone would ring me back within the hour 6 hours later I got a call I pushed it aside as I assumed it was just them being super busy after just opening due to covid they needed a deposit for the bike I paid £500 deposit it took almost a week and half for them to send me an email with proof of purchase after they got their money I didn't hear from them for about 2 and half months despite several times me calling to find out where my bike was and when to expect it
After 3 months of waiting I rang them up and told them I didn't want the bike no more and want my deposit back (contract didn't say it was non refundable) they said i was able to get my full £500 back when they could get round to it they would but it wasn't their priority 3 days later I rang back and after me having a go they took my details to put my refund into my bank 3 working days later I found the money wasn't in my bank so I rang them up to find out I had accidently given the wrong details so they couldn't authorise it none bothered to ring to tell me
I was then told that I was only eligible for £300 as £100 was non refundable and there was a £100 cancellation fee this is not stated in the contract or anywhere for that matter they fleeced me off £200
This company is disgusting and I would avoid like the plague
Totally dishonest salesman
Really disappointed with the service I received after buying a £16k secondhand bike. At first I thought my problems were because they’d recently opened after Covid and getting settled back into work mode, couldn’t and wouldn’t give me a date for when the 137mile used bike would be mine, failed to email details over, forgot, gave me a price for a tracker, failed to tell me it didn’t include vat and then I had the bike picked up as it was 120 miles away, well they sent the bike without its passenger seat unit, but sent the spare standard exhaust. I queried the missing seat and they said that it doesn’t come with a passenger seat, I was assured from other owners that the bike comes with a passenger seat, so I contacted them again and asked if they could contact the previous owner just incase they hadn’t given
It to the shop, yes the salesman said, he was happy to call the owner, but again I heard nothing and found out to buy a new seat would cost £260.00, so I emailed again to tell the salesman the cost implication and a few days later I received an email tell me that it didn’t come in with a passenger seat, wasn’t advertised with a passenger seat, so I wouldn’t be getting it. The following day I rode over to Millenium Motorcycles at St Helens, Liverpool and bumped into the previous owner who assured me he had given the shop the seat and they were fully aware that they had it. I found a very helpful young man called Lewis in the after sales service, explained the situation and he found and fitted the seat just to make sure. At £260.00 I suppose it would have made a nice Christmas drink on eBay for the Sales man who lied and lied again. So do not trust these salesmen at Millenium, they have no interest in the customer or the bikes. Be careful
This review should have been done some…
This review should have been done some years ago , but sadly I forgot , I was looking for a very low mileage Suzuki B-King , I looked through the Suzuki.GB website dealer list in turn from A onwards looking at all the used Suzuki stock I found my dream bike a pristine showroom condition B-King 2010 60 plate with just 3 miles on the clock apparently someone purchased it in 2010 took it home by van and it sat in a bike collection for 3 years apparently 5 guys were ogling this bike until I phoned an placed a deposit the bike was prepped , and accessories I purchased and had delivered to Millenium motorcycles free of charge , they also delivered the bike to me for a very reasonable charge I recommend this dealership and if finances allow I would buy another bike from them tomorrow . Sorry to all at Millenium for this very late review about 8 years late but better late than never .
