Garbage. Have new phone. It always diaconnects. Can't connect indoors even at airport parking. It cant receive global OTP codes. There are blind spots outdoors all over HCM with no connection. Its a total garbage phone provider.
I bought a Sim card from the stall inside the Tan Son Nhat international airport. I bought the card to use for 30 days but it only worked for 3 days!!!! When I tried to call It said I haven't got enough fund in my account for the call. I looked at the card where the Sim card came from, it said VNSKY but it's NOT. It's belong to Mobifone network. I can't call the help line because I have no money in the account???? How??? I can't even top up on line!! This is really bad. It's a scam.
They charged me money for the use of a month but only worked for 3 days!!! NEVER EVER buy from these people at the stall on the left side when you come out of the Immigration gate.
I landed in Hanoi Noi Boi Airport at 1am and after passing through security and immigration I went to the Mobifone store. I asked about their plans and told them I needed 3 weeks coverage for data. The girl told me that they don't take credit cards and to get change at the store next to theirs. She would set up my phone while I was getting change. When I came back I paid for the service and checked to make sure the phone was working. I asked he again if the coverage will last 3 weeks or a month and she said it might last 30 days. I left the store and went into city center. The phone worked fine and then on the 5th day it stopped working. No coverage at all. I checked the card that the SIM came in and it didn't match the number on the SIM card. It appears to me that the SIM card they put in my phone was already used and that's why she said it "will work for 3 weeks but maybe 30 days." They should know exactly how long it will work. This is a bait and switch and I would really warn anyone from using Mobifone and especially getting a SIM from then at Noi Boi Airport in Hanoi. I have since bought a Viettel SIM and it's working really well and the speed is faster with better coverage around the country. Be warned. Upate, I went to a Mobifone store in Hanoi and told them my card stopped working. They said it wasn't registered. The girl at the airport had my phone and passport when I got change so she should have registered it. I asked the employee in the store in the city if the card was used and registered before and she told me that it had been registered for normal use. So I got a card that had already been sold to someone else and returned. Be warned and make sure you see them take the SIM out of the package and put it in your phone. Test it and try it while you are at their counter. There is a bad situation happening at this location. Can't speak for other locations.
