iPhone 16’s out of stock
My wife and I ordered two iPhone 16’s and was assured the phones were in stock (asked twice if they were!) , money taken contract started, phones are out of stock, no updates, no contact or anything, sales person was ok but almost impossible to understand, so far very poor service.

I am sorry to hear that there was a delay on your order due to stock. I appreciate how frustating it is to be advised that the handset was in stock, only to be told that it was not.
I have looked into the order and can see that the handset did show as in stock at the time of ordering, however, it is possible that the handsets can become unavailable while your orders were processing.
I am glad to see that your handsets have now been delivered, and I hope you and your wife are able to enjoy your new handsets.

Easy & straightforward to order a new phone with a new contract. Much better deals than you can get from other providers. New phone arrives next day. Thats why my last 3 phones have come from Mobilephonesdirect.

Cowboys & Scam Services - AVOID
Given this company is affiliated to AO I assume they are not scammers however they certainly operate with the ethics and practices of a scam company - avoid them at all costs.
Here are some of the scam practices they have undertaken in the last 14 days:
1. Failed to deliver a phone after a contract is taken out.
2. And this is a big one - Refused to cancel a contract within the 14 day period despite no phone being received and this being the customer’s right in UK consumer law
3. Sending a second phone despite being told not to as I wished to cancel the contract.
4. Refusing to cancel a contract until the second phone (that they were told not to send in the first place) is returned
5. Then informing the customer that if they cancel the contract they will also lose the right to continue with their existing network O2
If you wish to lose the right to choose which network you wish to use through no fault of your own then, hey, crack on with these cowboys and good luck. Don’t say you were never warned.

Just awful. Customer service was awful. Never fully addressing a problem. When trying to make a payment my card was refused on several occasions. I contacted my bank who informed me that payment had been authorised on each occasion. Used another card. It eventually worked. They then cancelled my order. I would add my credit rating is "excellent " on Experian . They said the supplier Three had refused I went to three and was informed they had never been approached. It was sorted in minutes. I ordered the phone direct from Three. Phone arrive next day.
I would seriously recommend you think twice before using this company. If something starts to go wrong they do not seem to have any way of putting matters right.
Quite stressful really as any question mark against your credit rating has to be looked into.
Terrible company who dont listen.
I have now seen your response which unfortunately proves my point. Firstly there is no reason for my debit card to be refused on a number of occasions. Staff never looked into it being a problem with your systems. Secondly I was due for an upgrade that is why when I went direct to Three it went straight through. In fact I am using my new phone now
I can only repeat Mobile Phones Direct do not seem to have any useful in place to deal with matters when things go wrong with there own system.

Ordered a new phone way before the next day cut off, got an email to say it is out of stock although the website didn’t state that. Don’t over promise if you can’t fulfil an order, would have gone elsewhere but have to wait until now in stock.
