Very poor communication from this…

Very poor communication from this company, they might produce high quality furnitures but the customer service is really bad. It is also impossible to speak with them.

a custom-sized carpet

This was my first experience ordering from Mohd. The managers respond very quickly. We ordered a custom-sized carpet, and everything arrived in perfect quality and size. The service, delivery, and customs clearance were all fast, professional, and stress-free. I highly recommend this company!

Useless customer service

Update: I have received my furniture after more than 2 months wait. No broken articles despite what other people have stated, the packaging was very solid. The customer service team was helpful on the phone, but only after I posted the below review initially. I still think they require improvement both on reply and on timing estimates.

Have repeatedly contacted Mohd for an estimate of when my items will be shipped since placing my order in November. It has been over a month since the estimated delivery time and I still have no concrete answer when they will be sent and the customer support team only answers via email and with no actual details just continuous generic emails of "they will arrive within a few days" or "we are busy after the holiday period". I would not recommend whatsoever this company, save your peace of mind.

Excellent service and outstanding customer support

I had a great experience with MOHD from start to finish. My original order was delivered on time and in perfect condition, with absolutely no issues.

After delivery, I realised I wanted a different version of the product. Even though this involved a return outside the standard timeframe and a large, oversized item, the customer support I received was exceptional. Marilena from MOHD was incredibly helpful, professional, and supportive throughout the entire process.

She guided me step by step, explained everything clearly, and made what could have been a complicated situation feel smooth and stress-free. I was able to return my initial order and reorder the correct version with zero hassle, which is a level of customer care you rarely experience these days.

Overall, MOHD showed great flexibility, transparency, and genuine care for the customer. I would not hesitate to order from them again and highly recommend them.

Broken crockery

Ordered crockery and several pieces were broken. Packaging needed to be better, also should have stated clearly on outside of the box that the contents were fragile!! No fragile on the box at all.
Contacted the company and Marilena has been dealing with this for me. A big thank you Marilena for your help. Replacement shipped and waiting for delivery.

Terrible Customer Service

-We ordered a handful of expensive items from Mohd and were promised delivery dates.
-The items are now well over a month delayed in shipping to our client.
-We have repeatedly contacted Mohd customer service and they continue to say that the items are going to ship in 14 days.
-Mohd is unable to give exact dates or share shipping tracking information.

-Additionally as we are getting ready to pay the balance invoice we see that Mohd has ordered the incorrect Haller desk size.
-We are now several months into the order. This makes us look incredibly unprofessional to our clients.
-There are other items on the order and we cannot get a confirmed date on when they will ship.
-We have spent an incredible amount of time tracking and following up on our order.
-We regret ordering from Mohd. I would not recommend this company.

Great customer service

At first I got the wrong item, but the customer service has been extremely helpful in fixing the mishap pronto and also very kind when I decided I wanted to return the item to get from them a different variation of it.

Very poor communication and prolonged delays with no clear updates

UPDATE: I have received an update from MOHD an email and a phone call apologizing and providing some insight as to why the delay has occurred, I really appreciated it- still no clear timeline on when my items will arrive but initiative taken after I expressed my frustration.

** FURTHER UPDATE** today is the 12th February and I still do not have the order I placed from November 30 2025, despite the communication and updates - it's embarrassing that I don't have my order. I've seen the updates and I have 3/4 parts of my order but I've now seen they've only just ORDERED the last part? Like come on, how much longer will I have to wait?!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with MOHD.

I placed an order at the end of November and received no proactive communication for weeks. Despite chasing for updates, I was not provided with clear or concrete information about when my order would be dispatched or delivered.

While I understand that delays can occur, especially around holiday periods, the issue here is the complete lack of transparency. Customers should not be left in the dark for weeks without clear status updates or realistic timeline, especially as it's coming up to 3 months since the order was placed.

It should not be necessary to repeatedly follow up or leave a public review to receive basic information about an order. At this point the lack of communication has significantly undermined my confidence in the service.

Your order was forwarded to the manufacturer immediately after confirmation. At this stage, the only element still pending is a confirmed delivery estimate from the supplier. Unfortunately, until this information is formally communicated to us, we are unable to provide a definitive timeline. As soon as further details are received, you will be promptly informed, as we have done so far.

While we regret the extended waiting time, we respectfully disagree with the suggestion of a lack of communication. Our team has remained available and responsive throughout the process, and no information has been withheld.

We appreciate your patience and would like to reassure you that we are actively monitoring the situation with the supplier and will continue to keep you informed as soon as new updates become available.

Order Error & Complete Lack of Response

Further update: I have now received a refund for the difference, but the overall experience took far too long.

Update (January 16, 2026):
After posting my review, MOHD finally contacted me. They explained they had been very busy with Black Friday and the holiday season and assured me they will look into my issue. Still waiting for a proper resolution.

Original comment:
I had an extremely disappointing experience with MOHD.

I placed an order for USM furniture on August 9, 2025. After an exceptionally long wait, the items were finally delivered on December 23, 2025. Upon delivery, I discovered a serious error: a €700 USM bedside table was missing and instead I received a small table worth approximately €200.

I contacted MOHD the same day the issue was discovered. There was no response. I understood it was Christmas time, so I followed up again on December 29—still no response. I followed up again on January 6, 2026, and once more on January 13, 2026. I never received a single reply.

As a last attempt, I left messages via MOHD’s website chat on January 14, 2026. Again, no response whatsoever.

Happy to have ordered with MOHD

Happy to have ordered with MOHD. They have a very large range of design articles at very good prices. Also the communication was ok. My first ordered lamp was not what I hoped for. I returned it to Italy and they sent me the lamp I wanted to have. It took a while, but now all ok. All transport costs on behalf of MOHD.

Long wait, helpful customer service

Update: I received my order yesterday, seven weeks after it was placed. The frustration could have been easily avoided by clearly stating a longer production or delivery time upfront. Unfortunately, there is a missing detail and some minor damage.

That said, customer service has been very helpful and patient: responded to my mails quickly and doing their best so far to resolve the issues. For that effort, I am adding a star. I am currently waiting for the missing detail to arrive and for the factory’s response regarding both the missing piece and the damage.

I will consider updating my review again once everything is fully resolved. Knowing the usual quality the brand I had ordered delivers, and in light of the long wait and the issues, some form of goodwill gesture would be appreciated.

Original experience: Six weeks in, and my order is still not shipped despite promises to resolve the issue. When I had ordered, I was prepared to wait 3 weeks stated on the site, but now it is double the time. The item finally arrived in the warehouse 11 days ago, but nothing has happened since. Just don't promise if you can't deliver... Customer service is very polite, though

Employees Take personal ownership to sattisfy customers

Product was damaged during Delivery by the Delivery company. MOHD worked Out with me best solution to avoid return and delivered spare parts and instruction to repair. All worked well.
The employee handling my Case took personal ownership to Support and foolowed-up until all was solved. Really appreciated!

Great assistance and great piece!

I ordered a marble table at MOHD. The shipment was a bit of a challenge since the first two times the item arrived broken. However this was not the fault of MOHD because it was packed very carefully with a hand made to measure box with padding. We discussed to use a different shipping company and extra safety measures and the third time the talbe arrived in great condition. Thank you very much MOHD for thinking along with us and not giving up. We are very happy with this beautiful piece in our appartment in Amsterdam!

Part of item arrived shattered, replacement arrived after 10 weeks

Item arrived shattered. I have since read other reviews and this seems to be common from MOHD.
I will update review if satisfactorily resolved.

Update 1 - Customer service responded on the basis of my initial review - broken item will be replaced when back in stock.

Update 2: over 7 weeks on I am still awaiting item replacement - changing review to 2 stars.

Update 3: the small dish that is damaged is the bottom part of the La Boule set - the broken dish makes the whole set redundant. If this small dish could not be replaced in a timely manner the set should be replaced. Offering a refund for the small dish makes absolutely no sense. I cannot buy the broken dish as a stand alone item.

Update 4: Replacement item arrived after 10 weeks. I am satisfied with the eventual outcome and communication but am unsure it would have been resolved without drawing attention via a public online review

We would like to clarify the situation for accuracy. The item in question was a small dish that unfortunately arrived damaged due to transport. As soon as you reported the issue, we immediately confirmed that a replacement would be ordered and shipped to you as soon as it became available again.

As already communicated to you both by email and by phone, the replacement item is currently not in stock, and we are waiting to receive it from the manufacturer before proceeding with shipment. This waiting time is unfortunately outside of our direct control, but the replacement is already in progress.

While we understand your frustration with the waiting time, we believe it is important to note that the case has been actively handled from the beginning and that the solution — a full replacement — has already been confirmed and arranged.
