Moneda Capital PLC Reviews 

Got an email from Moneda on 3rd Sept 2025 informing me that they are under investigation from the Financial Conduct Authority and that their assets were seized. Also stated to contact the FCA directly which I did and was informed that they were indeed under criminal investigation. I invested a considerable amount and now cannot access my Moneda account. Their website has also been shut down !!!!!

Complete scam . FCA has retained their bank account . They are not answering their phone. All the staff have disappeared

I was lucky in that I pulled out of investing with Moneda at the last minute. I did a deep dive into the people behind the company, realised it was likely to be a scam and reported the company to Action for Fraud. I hope those who invested are able to recoup some of their investment

It gives me no pleasure to report that I have been informed that this company will officially cease trading on 2nd September.
Their higher management team are no longer contactable and they appear to be closing down their customer portal network.
As a matter of urgency, I would advise investors to contact FCA in an attempt to recoup some of your, no doubt, hard earned funds.

I have an account with Moneda Capital and have invested £335,000. I am a semi retired pensioner in my 60s and this amounts to my life savings.
I have been having conversations and email exchanges with Curtis Myton and Stephen Killick at Moneda about my exceedingly worrying financial situation.
Curtis tells me he has consulted with Senior Management and, given my unique and very challenging circumstances, Moneda Senior Management have kindly agreed to reimburse me. However, I have received no reply to my recent emails about this? And there is still no sign of the first tranche of reimbursed funds which Curtis told me would be transferred into my bank account a few weeks ago?
Can you please tell me why you have suddenly gone so quiet about this?

He was courteous, pertinent, prompt, friendly and (unlike my bank) very well informed.

I had a positive experience opening an account, but I wish the Moneda representative had followed up with me sooner after our initial in order to create it

Very satisfied with the service and interest rates that were provided by Richard. I was not familiar with the savings hub set up, however it was explained to me in an understandable and simple way!

I would very strongly advise anyone thinking of investing with Moneda Capital to do some research. I agree with all the previous comments, the sales staff are all patient and reassuring and every question has an answer. I was very close to making an investment but decided on doing some digging after the fraud department in my bank contacted me following an attempt to do a transfer and advised me to make further enquiries. An internet search will uncover some disturbing facts about some of the people behind the company. The existence of your fund and its apparent growth is only evidenced though their portal.

In the wake of lowering interest rates, I thankfully had the pleasure of working with Harry at Moneda Capital Ltd.
Seeking the best possible rates, Harry delivered beyond my expectations, even outperforming platforms like Raisin, whom I've used before.

Harry’s friendly and conversational approach, combined with his professionalism and proficiency, made the entire process smooth and understandable. The service felt very personal, and it was easy to get hold of him whenever I had questions. His responses were always prompt and helpful.

One notable challenge we encountered was transferring funds from my Lloyds account, which I use as my nominated loading account. It took some perseverance to get the money moved, as traditional banks are still catching up with the "Bank of Dave" repercussions and seem unaware of modern investment platforms and associate banks.
Harry's persistence and expertise were invaluable in navigating this and holding rates whilst crossing this hurdle.

Quick ,simple and well informed advice

I was searching various websites looking for somewhere to invest my money & Richard was the only person who rang me back. Richard was very polite, patient & spoke to me in a way that I understood everything! He explained everything, put his manager on the line for my peace of mind (& to check Richard was doing his job properly!). I felt like a valued customer & am pleased with the outcome of the situation!

We have been involved with internet banking for the last 20 years. We have never received such an excellent service. Gregory Scott was very patient,approachable and helpful in explaining everything. He never gave the impression that he was in a rush. He explained everything in a calm and professional manner. He answered all my emails very quickly. I wear hearing aid. So I struggle on the telephone. My wife was helping me out . He made her feel comfortable even though she does not like getting involved on the money side. He answered all the questions we asked. I will definitely recommend him and contact him when our next fixed deposit matures
