My sister and I had a great experience investing with Moneda Capital. As new investors who had never invested such a large amount before, we was initially a little apprehensive. Whilst most of the websites we had looked on before to compare rates were morre self-led, the guy at Moneda put us completely at ease and allowed us to ask questions.

I have done some due diligence on this company. It is owned by an individual and is not a PLC in the true sense as it is not a large company whose shares are traded on a recognised exchange. It appears to have been trading little more than a year and has yet to file any meaningful accounts. It is not FCA regulated. The positive reviews here are all recent (of course) and only relate to how nice their sales people were to deal with. How can you be a satisfied customer if your investment has just begun? The proof will be when not only interest is payable but the capital is due to be repaid.

There seems to be a sense among some people that such investments are OK anyway because the FCA or FSCS will bale them out. It won’t! Non regulated investments don’t qualify for FSCS. Good luck to anyone who invests with this outfit!

We built a relationship with Curtis over 5 months. We took our time making the decision to invest but there was no pressure. He explained rates fluctuate and that was a risk we were willing to take. The rate we got wasn’t far off of our original quote and we e are very happy knowing our retirement pot is growing.

A number of months ago I began exploring some fixed term interest options upon receipt of an inheritance following the death of my father. Irish bank interests are far below ECB rates and therefore I sought to get the best bang for my buck. After some research I came across Moneda and completed their initial form. A few days later I received a call from them to discuss my options. For me, being able to place money that I received from my father in a place where it was guaranteed and with a firm that I knew I could learn to trust was of critical importance. Moneda asked me how I came about the funds and immediately understood why it was important to me to ensure that it was invested/deposited securely. On a human level they were great to deal with. I would highly recommend reaching out to Moneda and ask any question possible, there is never a stupid question. They are very easy to get a hold of by phone and email. I intend to diversify further with them in the near future, potentially looking at additional investment opportunities which take on a little more risk. I could only feel this way if I felt that I had trust in their knowledge and expertise. A big thank you to Shane, Troy and team to date on our investment journey to date.
