20–30 transactions drained my account almost instantly while my card was blocked in the app.
I reported it immediately as fraud.
Their response? “It’s your fault.”
No urgency. No protection. No real help.
They didn’t stop the transactions, didn’t take responsibility, and didn’t act like a company that cares about customer security.
Let that sink in: dozens of rapid transactions on an account with no history of that kind of activity… and their “security system” didn’t flag anything.
Instead of support, I got blamed for being the victim.
Really?! Someone clones my card details, steal money from me, and IT’s My Fault?!! Mine?! The Victim?
They refused to start any refund process and hid behind their policies.
Even worse, they warned my account could go into a negative balance if more payments were attempted.
So not only was I scammed and lost all my money I could end up owing them too?
I’m currently pregnant and left without money, and this is how they treat customers in a crisis.

The bank refunded my funds almost immediately, even though the issue was on the merchant's side. Also, I opened my FOP account here, and it is super easy to use compared to regular banks.

I’ve been a loyal Monobank (Universal Bank) customer for a long time and have never missed a single payment. Yet, every day I receive multiple reminders about upcoming payments — through SMS, app notifications, and Telegram all at once, sometimes 2–3 times per day.
I asked support to reduce or limit the messages, but they refused, saying it’s “informational communication.” They claim it’s part of the agreement and don’t allow users to opt out or reduce the number of channels, which is frustrating and intrusive.
When I raised this issue, the support team responded with generic messages and even subtly discouraged me from filing a complaint with the National Bank of Ukraine — which I did anyway.
This level of aggressive communication is unacceptable from a modern digital bank. I hope they review this practice and start respecting their customers’ mental space.

I am not a client of this bank,but I am the one who would like to transfer some donations to "Banka" opened by my friends and lately it's not possible to transfer from outside of Ukraine accounts. This is a bit frustrating.

the app looks good, but from what i have read, those guys are the real fraudsters. even privatbank with their annoying AI-powered tech support and OUTRIGHT PARANOID security system looks better because it has good reputation, and that is despite containing the absolute DOGSHIT verification methods you could ever find for online banking.
Monobank supports fraud
I’ve been using Monobank for quite some time and the overall experience has been great. But yesterday I was able to locate a fraud account that has been collecting money for quite some time. This user was impersonating a different organization. I reached out to their support with all of the evidence. It has been one day and they did nothing, the account keeps collecting money. I reached out to their support again and they said that they analyzed my request and followed their procedures. When I asked what kind of procedures was followed they said that it’s a secret of the bank lol. I asked what will happen if I transfer some amount to this fraud account. They asked me not to do so, because they won’t be able to return this amount to me. Monobank’s security of their clients is allowing fraud and being unable to return money to the users who were tricked by this user. Monobank supports fraud and allows it to operate without any issues. Do not use them under any circumstances, it’s not safe
One of the best banks
I really love the service this bank provides. The app is super convenient and intuitive. I think they have the best customer support I've ever dealt with. I'm a Platinum cardholder and I use their concierge service quite often. It's worth paying the card fee just for that. I appreciate the most is that I immediately talk to a real person, but not with virtual assistant or chatbot. The responses are professional and quick.
It's also really easy and fast to open additional cards in different currencies. Although, it is a kind of the norm in Ukrainian banking, but still, not every bank has figured out how to do it automatically. For everyday basic operations, this bank is the best.

The application is only available in Ukranian and maybe Russian, who knows. I do not speak any Ukranian and a very little russian, so the app is useless to me. Also when I did persevere with the app and tried to make a deposit from an existing Ukranian bank to Monobank, it started a chain of events for money laundering and checks, occupation, source of funds. Unfortunatey the app doesnt cover my situation of retired, non pensioner. So it was impossible for me to declare my status. I provided documents for the funds but apparently these were unacceptable to MonoBank, stay away from this bank, they are worse than A-Bank and I thought A-Bank was bad.

Actually i just opened trustpilot monobank and i want to say that i was expected to see at least 4.9 or 5 starts. I don’t understand why so much bad reviews from different countries. Consumer loans from monobank
Do not trust monobank. Never believe a word they say. You can only keep an account there (it's convenient to use their app). But when it comes to consumer loans, your money will simply disappear without a trace, you will be left without the goods and will be forced to pay the full amount of the loan.
Moreover, their customer service under anonymous nicknames will humiliate you in every possible way on forums where you try to make public facts unpleasant for the bank, as it is impossible to resolve the issue peacefully.
A criminal case has been opened based on the above facts. I see no other options to get my money back.

Extremely Poor Service and Incompetence
I’ve been a Monobank customer for years, but my recent experience has been nothing short of frustrating. I’ve been waiting for a plastic card for over a months, and it still hasn’t arrived. Specialist Volodymyr’s incompetence and unwillingness to help have only made matters worse. Despite multiple follow-ups, I’ve received nothing but empty promises and no real solutions.
This level of service is unacceptable for a bank that prides itself on being modern and customer-focused. I expected much better, but unfortunately, Monobank has let me down this time.

I loved monobank earlier, but it became a little inconvenient. They give you an opportunity to save your funds by cashback programm and also use a "bottle" system. But also there are some troubles. Fu*k this is a stupid app. I searched for fu*king settings to set up double conversion for about 20 minutes, poking at different icons and to no avail. The guys make a cool design but forget about convenience, this crap drove me crazy. Because of such trifles, I can't quickly pay for what I need
