A non-attractive white border at top of my art image on two of the five card images are un-useable for me. Very disappointing.
Let’s get this out of the way: Moo cards cost more. And, they are absolutely worth every penny. I keep getting new clients ($$$) many of which have said they called me because of my cards. “If he puts that much thought and care into getting quality cards, he must do the same with his work.” I will forever order my business cards from Moo. They are as unique as myself and my business.
I uploaded my logo and image and it’s black. Most of the cards (not all of them) arrived having white showing on 2 of the edges, but not consistently the same edges; ie, some are the top and right, some are the top and left. I’m not completely satisfied but not bad enough to send back...see photo below: top is wonky on the top and right. The one on the left is just the right side, the one on the right is wonky on the top, and the one on the bottom is almost perfect.
I was greatly surprised when i received my new business cards. First, the paper quality is superior to what i was expecting, second, the delay (Covid) for the shipping was reasonable. I also ask for a Sample to see other types of printed postcards, business cards and saw again the originality and current trends offered for designers. I will surrely send other designs in for print.
Quality as ever is great - I'm just a touch disappointed that what I took to be a feature of the online design tool (the top of certain letters being cropped off slightly) was actually how the cards were going to be printed. The design-tool is brilliant in that it tells you when you are in danger of losing content, or when the resolution of images is insufficient; so it seems a shame that it doesn't also prompt you with a warning that the font and size you are using may end up being cropped - as it appears on the screen. There may be a pop-up or warning that explicitly states that what you see is what you get - and if so, I'm sorry I missed it.
