This is the fourth item I have ordered from Moon maiden and the second Steam punk witch skirt - can't recommend this site highly enough. These skirts, in particular, make me feel like an absolute gothic queen! I have a black and aubergine velvet one and the quality, feel and colour is delicious. I love that the clothes are tailored made to your fit- something I struggle with as a tall person. And the price paid for the quality is fantastic. The people communicate well and seem super friendly. Thank you Moon maiden!

Well made skirt arrived ahead of time by a week. I got regular and appropriate updates regarding my order. The website and ordering process are easy to navigate.
I have great trouble finding clothes to fit me as most xxs sizes are too big. I appreciated the advice to double check sizing & clear company communication on what they & cants do regarding purchasing garments.
Now I have a skirt that fits me and I feel smart. I'm definitely looking at purchasing more clothes from Moonmaiden.

My Arwen Blood Red Gown is a dream come true! Fits perfectly and the fabric is gorgeous. Shipping was pretty fast considering it was made to my measurements. I'm saving up for one of the Galadriel's nect :D

I spent several hundred dollars here (mostly shipping in the end) and I found that the quality of the clothes is substandard, like costume quality and not suitable for normal everyday wear. Firstly, the fabric is thin and very stretchy so it does not feel like they would last. About half of my items were wearable but felt very unfinished, like waistbands not being finished (they are left open and the elastic folds up...) or had a major sizing issues (2 items were dragging on the floor, 1 item way too big in the bust) and what I really hated was that they put a little moonmaiden tag on the outside of the clothing in a highly visible area on each garment. Like another review mentioned, they also use threads that do not match the fabric and a lot of the stitching was haphazard, uneven, or visible. Due to this, there was one item I just threw out. Before I placed an order, I had asked them an innocent question about their products and they had a strange sarcastic reply, so I didn't bother reaching out to them about these issues. I've finally learned to sew and I have started repairing these items so I can wear some of them now. I would recommend this store to people in the UK, where shipping would be reasonable, who just want to buy something to be worn once or twice as a costume, because the prices are quite low. I will mention one other word of caution: Their product photos are incredibly vague and it is often difficult to tell what exactly the final item will look like, due to the model's hair covering the bodice or long tops covering the skirts. If you order from here, you should be very open-minded about what you will get because some of my items were quite a surprise when I took them out of the package.

Every item I have bought has been made beautifully - stitching is always overlocked. Made with beautiful velvet. As someone who's made their own clothes before I know she can't be making much on what she creates.
In a world with mass production alternative clothing has become very unaffordable but Moonmaiden prices have always been really good value.
She has standard sizing option or custom which means if like me,you're in-between sizing, you can guarantee it will fit perfectly.
This is my fourth order and nothing has ever been too much trouble.

I have bought multiple thousands of dollars of clothes from Moonmaiden over the years, and dealt with some odd sizing issues, mismatched colours, holes in clothes, and terrible stitching with grace. I have some sewing skills so just repaired what was the matter. One time an order arrived that was just woeful, there was no saving it, and after some poor communication with the owners, I begrudgingly filed a Paypal claim for my losses.

Moonmaiden is now refusing to talk with me or sell to me or OTHER PEOPLE NEAR TO WHERE I LIVE. It's just so bizarre that they don't just take ownership of their mistakes and take it personally. Be careful buying from them.

My experience with the ordering process was absolutely excellent and I was ready to love my items but unfortunately I'm just disappointed. The quality is really not to the level I was expecting. One of my tops came out of the package with a small tear in the lace, and the smell of it makes me wonder if the fabric has been sitting in storage long enough to dry rot?! Also, black thread seems to have been used regardless of the colour of the fabric which makes it really obvious how wavy and uneven the stitching is. I absolutely hate to leave a review like this but seeing as all of the other reviews I've seen are overwhelmingly positive I feel like I have to say something. Design is excellent, customer service is excellent, price is great, but the quality is really not worth it in my opinion.

Moonmaiden made a custom skirt for me based on a photo of a skirt design/colour I could not find anywhere. The colour (steamed claret velvet) is absolutely stunning, I love it! The quality of the stitching is very good and I can see the products I purchased lasting me a long time. The communication from Moonmaiden was brilliant and they were very keen to make sure I was happy with the design requested. Beautiful witchy clothes at a reasonable price, made by nice people. I am over the moon! Thank you!

I ordered a steam split skirt in black from Moonmaiden over the Yule period of 2019 — specifically because of that, it took a while for the order to be processed, but it was made and shipped out to me so soon after that. The quality is absolutely excellent, it fits me perfectly and I’m currently running around the house like a sexy, dark gothic fairy with a pyjama top on to match. I’l absolutely be putting my bank account through a ton of stress buying from Moonmaiden in the future, since their quality, customer service and speed all match up to my buying standards!

Had my wedding dress made by them, and it turned out absolutely perfect. It was beautifully made, fit like a glove and I felt gorgeous. There were no hesitations about altering an existing item, and communication was friendly and prompt. I will be buying more from MoonMaiden, if not my whole wardrobe!!!

Where else can you get exclusive gothic clothing at such reasonable prices? The made to measure service comes at no extra charge too. I love my dresses, skirt and top and would order from here again.
