When I initially submitted my CV, I worked with Millain who was amazingly helpful and actually found me great employment after my very first interview. This was in 2023.

Since then, Morgan Hunt has gone downhill. My experience with them has been diabolical. The communication has been terrible to say the least. They have honestly wasted so much of my time and I would never ever recommend them ever again. I had to ask that they remove my information from their database with confirmation.

I feel very sorry and sad for anyone that has had their time wasted by people that clearly don’t know how to do their jobs and communication with consideration for people looking for employment. Huge disappointment.

I’m very thankful to Amie Day for all her patience and dedication to finding me a suitable LSA job, which is difficult especially when you don’t apply for full time. She contacted me by email and on the phone when we needed to discuss job options or when I needed support with payment, and she’d get it all solved promptly, which I really appreciate.

Brought in to start a desk the manager had no clue about, made multiple hires and failed to manage anyone.

Told him I had ADHD and struggled with elements of their compliance procedures. Asked for more training, allowances and help and understanding from the manager which he refused. Would angry teams call me and say he didnt want to hear about compliance anymore.

Told I was given 6 months to a year to get the desk which was cold off the ground. Billings started increasing and was bringing in jobs.

Told the manager my partner had post partum depression, so if he needed to let me go just give me a months head up. The week before he teams called me and was having a go about compliance again, I said I was just offered a job should we just call it a day, as he didnt want to help me. Said no stay, then the following week he let me go after I brought a 6k fee job on.

Also allowed the office to call me a deragatory nickname, promotes cocaine use on work nights out and is barely in the office.

In my exit interview which was sprung on me, whilst I was working a job his reason was "I cant be arsed talking about compliance anymore", no reason given on termination email and no official reason to this day. Spoke to the director and even he didnt know the reason.

Manager couldnt be bothered working with someone neurodivergent, so just got rid of me. While they had consultants there not even billing.

Simply and shortly......... The agency is open only for the entrance fee, that's the real purpose. Nothing else. Scam. Look at the names of those who give 5 stars and it will be clear to you. I'm disappointed that Trustpilot allowed this. I just had to ask the agency where they got my phone number and they went silent (they wrote me on What's up, from blue)

I had an incredibly distressing experience while working on a temporary contract facilitated by Morgan Hunt, which left me abruptly out of a job because of lies and manipulation.

From the outset, one of my non-negotiable conditions for accepting a role with them was the ability to work remotely from abroad. This requirement was clearly communicated to Morgan Hunt, and I received assurances that it had been agreed upon by the client. Robyn Johnson from Morgan Hunt is the one who facilitated this scam agreement.

However, once in post, things quickly began to unravel. Despite reiterating my remote work arrangement to management, I was later locked out of the system without warning when working from abroad. It became clear that there had been a complete failure in ensuring proper internal communication and documentation of the agreement.

Morgan Hunt failed to advocate for me or provide support as events spiralled. I was suddenly and inaccurately announced to have “left the organisation” while the issue was supposedly still under review. At no point was I given the opportunity to explain or resolve the situation, and Morgan Hunt did not intervene meaningfully to protect my position or reputation.

Their handling of this matter was not only unprofessional but completely neglectful of their duty to support a contractor they placed. They overlooked vital pre-agreed terms, failed to mediate effectively between myself and the client, and allowed damaging misinformation to spread without defending my name.

I expected more from a recruitment agency claiming to specialise in public sector placements. Unfortunately, my experience with Morgan Hunt was one of miscommunication, lack of accountability, and a failure to safeguard my contractual rights and wellbeing. I would caution others before working with them.

Be cautious if you join this agency, from my experience it was based on lies for their own benefit.

I was approached by a consultant preethy raviendran 0207 419 8927
She said there were some cleaning vacancies in the YMCA ST PAULS GROUP.
I had to pay the enhanced DBS Fee and do all these compliance checks.
But I heard nothing I was then contacted by a person called Toral Shah 07918112085 who said there was some cleaning work in Walthamstow or near Burnham.
But then today the shifts were cancellation abruptly and suddenly by another recruitment consultant called Priti Prasad 07488887321.
I was very disappointed the consultant stipulated in her email it was because of the manager side but I was very suspicious

I joined this agency in Mar 2023 and started working at John Ruskin College, and my consultant was called Asa Clark. He was absolutely amazing! He supported me, was very attentive to any concerns I had and sorted them out swiftly. Unfortunately he left the company in Sep 2024 and that's when things went downhill. I was passed onto 2 consultants (Amie Day and Trisha Salunke); with Amie being my main consultant. I would send Aime emails and she was either on frequent annual leave, or wouldn't respond to my emails unless they were sent numerous times. Here's where it gets ugly. From Sep 2024 - Nov 2024, I informed Amie of the bullying and micro-aggression I was being subjected to by the new SEN manager of John Ruskin that joined in Sep. The manager at JRC was making false accusations against me; refused to sign my timesheet unless I inputted the hours she requested; along with other things. I documented all these things and plucked up the courage to submit a formal complaint to both Amie and JRC's HR department in Dec 2024. Despite me confiding in Aime about the state of my mental health throughout this whole ordeal, I was let go after the Christmas break under the guise of no longer being needed, and everything was swept under the carpet. Amie's response was less than abysmal and claimed that her team were investigating my complaint. This was in Jan, we are now in May and I'm still yet to be informed of the outcome of my formal complaint. From the negative reviews I've been reading, it's so obvious they do not care about the wellbeing and mental health of those they employ.

Unfortunately, I held Amie to the same standards as Asa Clark, based on my wonderful experience with him. That was my mistake and I paid it for dearly by being bullied by the manager at JRC and being wrongfully let go. The complaints department at Morgan Hunt is non-existent. I made complaints about Aime and Trisha and never received a response.

Rather than offering me a new placement, or actually taking my complaint seriously with some support, they decided to be sneaky and sent me a P45. Shocking company!

Weird vibe with these guys from the start, especially when i was asked if i was over 23?. They contacted me about an opportunity to help a holiday company rank higher in Google search results. Details were drip-fed, but once they shared the name of the holiday company, I looked them up and found poor reviews—including with Which—so I politely turned the offer down, explaining I didn’t want to be aligned with a business like that.

I considered the matter closed and blocked them on WhatsApp. Less than a minute later, I got an SMS insinuating that my blocking them was abrupt and asking for an explanation. They continued pushing the opportunity, downplaying my concerns, and even sent a WhatsApp group link despite my clear refusal.

Overall, the interaction felt invasive, unprofessional, and a little like a scam. I wouldn’t recommend engaging with a company that disregards boundaries and tries to pressure people into “giving it a try".

Get a call from one of their consultants after sending my CV over for a role, they left a voicemail asking me to call them back. Tried twice, left them a voicemail and emailed them to be completely ignored.

They may want to remember that the market will pick up again eventually and the candidates whose time they wasted will be reluctant to use them again.

I have used James at Morgan Hunt to help recruit into my Department and found the service to be very good. He was very communicative, had multiple candidate applications ready to go and made the process extremely easy.
