I have dealt with Morris Finance for a number of years and have always found them to be the most competitive in terms of borrowing and investment. Perhaps even more important is the culture of the business. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and efficient whilst still being very friendly and personable.

The settlement process is the most difficult on the market with the most and most complex requirements that no other lender would ever ask for - example: road worthy certificate/proof of client banking for direct debit - no other lender requires this on any transaction type. Your settlements process is tough and when on a time crunch I know brokers will avoid Morris purely because they know how difficult settlement is - particularly on private sales. Credit is good - flexible and easy to communicate with. National Manager is always available - even outside working hours - to answer queries and respond to urgent matters - without him, settlements would be even harder as he is a good buffer between the broker and the settlements team. Because we don't have a BDM, we would direct all inquiries to either the National Manager or the Credit Analysts. I think a lot of brokers here in QLD are uneducated about Morris Finance products and their ability to step outside of the box and work on out of the ordinary scenarios. Maybe some more communication on "did you know..." to educate brokers on what you can do - I think you're missing out on business

Very approachable team willing to find a way to structure an approval for the right clients

Out of all the lenders i have been happy with the support and the ability to discuss options and come up with solutions that work for both parties alike.
I think areas of opportunity are in documentation and application forms and tracking.
