I recently purchased an Audi A6 from Motorama Sales, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The staff was very professional, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire process. They made everything smooth and stress-free, answering all my questions and ensuring I was comfortable with my decision.

The car was exactly as described—clean, well-maintained, and drives beautifully. You can really tell they care about quality and customer satisfaction.

I highly recommend Motorama Sales to anyone looking for a great vehicle and excellent service. Thank you for making this such a positive experience!

Terrible company

Terrible company, they sold me a car that was meant to have had a wetbelt done, and it never did. There was issues with the vehicle that should have come up on the mot but never did, such as a failed wheel bearing, break pads under 3mm and new discs needed too. The windows had been scratched by someone trying to polish it and this was not in the photos. I had to travel to them 3 and a half times which is over 70 miles each way for them to do a bodged job on the bumper that was damaged and not noted, for the windows and break drums and pads. They wouldn’t help with the wheel bearing or the suspension arm that was perishing. Terrible customer service all round. I feel sorry for anyone who purchases a car though these guys. Not to mention when they replaced the windows they broke clips which they did not fix, there was plastic that was on the outside which my ford dealership said is meant to be on the inside.

They also charged more then every other car that hadn’t had a wetbelt done and Ignore me for months.

PLEASE BEWARE!!!

See below my experience with them. They are dreadful:

I hope you are well.

I recently sold my car through Motorway and you were the dealer who won the bid of £6,070.00

When we spoke on the phone on the 24th of September at 12:01, you confirmed that your garage will be picking up the car. We agreed a pick up date on the 30th of September between 14:00-16:00.

When your colleagues attended on the 30th of September to pick up the car, we went for a test drive together, and when we returned, he spoke to someone on the phone, in a foreign language that I could not understand, and then he advised me that apparently, a new belt is needed and that will cost £600.00
At no point a quote was provided for this amount, and when I tried to negotiate the price, which I have every right to do, he refused and advised that he will not be picking up the car.

I felt very intimidated and pressured to accept a price that I haven’t even seen a quote for, despite the fact that you have to give me ample time to make an informed decision.

When I messaged you on the 1st of October to request a copy of the report that claims the belt needs changing, and also, to get the mechanics details, you confirm that he is RAC approved and decline to give me any details. I have also ask multiple times for an invoice or quote for the alleged works, which you have failed to provide.

Furthermore, you failed to advise me that you are using a third party contractor and, according to trading standards, your website says that you are AA approved but your 3rd party mechanic is RAC approved. I have searched on RAC website but I cannot find a mechanic under Motorama Sales Ltd.
Moreover, as you are being unhelpful and not willing to provide me with your mechanics details so I can check that they are RAC approved, you confirm that you will not be sharing these details.

Please note, a complaint has been made with RAC and they will be investigating.

I am willing to reach a resolution without having to proceed with the Motor Ombudsman.

BUYERS BEWARE if it goes wrong you are on your own!

I purchased a vehicle from Motorama Sales Ltd in Welwyn Garden City in February 2022. They seemed like a nice garage with a good selection of used cars selling anything from expensive Mercedes to Fiestas. The vehicle I looked at was a 2016 Astra model that had done 63k miles. I was told that the vehicle had come in as a part exchange for a Mercedes. After I carried out all necessary checks, I agreed to purchase the vehicle and they put me in touch with a broker. When I collected the vehicle, and I was then told it was bought at an auction. This came as a huge shock as I would never buy from an auction as they are sold as seen. But I was so far down the road with it I proceeded with the purchase. Since purchase the vehicle has had a consistent fault requiring minor repairs - none of which have been successful. Eventually the vehicle broke down completely and now requires either a new engine or substantial repairs to the existing one. As I had the vehicle less that 6 months under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 I am entitled to a full repair or replacement vehicle. I have tried to deal with this amicably and fairly. The dealer decided to instruct his solicitors who have now just told me to get lost. So, I have a vehicle on finance that doesn't drive that needs thousands spending on it and am having to pay for car hire. I am now also facing a long legal battle to get a refund as the garage refuse to help. So, BUYER BEWARE if you have any issues with your car after purchase, they will not help you and you are in for a long legal battle. I gave them the benefit of the doubt being a new company to my own detriment.
