time consuming insurance claim

1st feb. 2023, my partners car was hit at 7am whilst parked in the road. Not wanting to make a claim to her ins. co. she went to motor claims network. Next day
they sent her to Enterprise car hire for a courtesy car, and arranged for her car to be collected. On 14th of july, she was made an offer by the other ins.co. So, after numerous phone calls and E-mails to Motor Claims Network, we have a resolution. But this has cost: approx 195 days car hire at £67 per day.195 days storage for her car at £14 per day. plus cost of
settlement for her car. No wonder car insurance is so dear. To cap it all, Motor Claims Network said she had to deal with the ins. co. to reach an agreement.
Moral is: dont deal with these so-called claim helpers because they are no help at all, it will just prolong the stress.
