I was facing a totting up ban of up to 6 months which would have cost me my job. I was represented by Daisy Nisbet and Mike McKeown who instantly made me feel more relaxed. Daisy was always at the other end of the phone and kept in touch regularly.

Despite me not giving them a great deal of time to work on my case, they were both excellent. Mike was great in court and I managed to get a 2 week ban with a fine of £400. This which was significantly better for me as I kept my job.

I had been stopped by police for driving under the influence of THC, due to someone who doesn't like me reporting me and therefore my licence plates were flagged by the police and I was arrested.

I instructed this firm in relation to a motoring matter on a standby basis. While work was carried out and staff were generally polite, my overall experience was disappointing due to poor communication and lack of proactive case management.

In particular, I was not asked when I was due to return to the police station, which resulted in advice being given only hours before a critical police interview — something I had to notify the firm about myself. This left me feeling underprepared and unsupported at a key stage. Communication around court attendance times was also confusing and caused unnecessary stress.

Although the firm maintains that all work was completed in line with their package, I do not feel the level of reassurance, clarity, or proactive guidance I received justified the fees charged. Concerns raised were ultimately dismissed rather than meaningfully addressed.

This may suit clients who are very confident managing matters themselves, but if you are looking for clear, proactive communication and close case management, I would advise caution.

I selected Geoffrey Miller to defend our case as I was very impressed with the knowledge & understanding of the drugs testing process that Jeanette Miller demonstrated in my first call.
