I would not recommend this workshop

I would not recommend this workshop, based on the experience I had of service work on a BMW K1600. The most fundamental problem was that the work done was negligent to the point of being dangerous - a major suspension fastener was left loose, not tightened to the 145NM specified by BMW. This was picked up, fortunately before it caused an accident, by a subsequent main dealer check of the work done by Motoscot. I paid for the check, by a technician with specialist K1600 training and experience, because of my unease with Motoscot's attitude and approach. Other symptoms of the lack of care included empty expansion tank, overlooked in their haste to put the bike back together and get my money; an engine part (secondary air gallery) broken as a result of Motoscot's carelessness but for which I was billed nevertheless; gross over-inflation of tyres; and inlet air temperature sensor left dangling on its wire, not fitted in place. There is no sign of reference documentation (torque settings etc) in use nor indeed of torque wrenches being used at all. Not confidence inspiring - and not even cheap.
