We’ve taken traditional chai spices and added kava kava root and skullcap to create this calming, aromatically warm blend. Both kava kava root and skullcap have long been used in folk traditions to promote relaxation. Our Kava Chai makes for an excellent brew to curl up with and wind down after the hustle and bustle of a long, busy day. Caffeine free. Aroma and Flavor: Spicy aroma, with hints of citrus, followed by an herbaceous flavor with a rooty, rounded finish and warming notes. Ingredients: Organic cassia cinnamon chips, organic ginger root, organic kava kava root, organic cardamom hulled, organic cardamom pods, organic cloves, organic orange peel, organic skullcap, and organic nutmeg powder. Brew Instructions Fill 1 tablespoon of tea in a cloth tea bag or mesh basket and place in your favorite mug. Pour 8 ounces of boiling water over the tea and allow to steep for 3-5 minutes or until desired strength is reached.
