Useful and stylish, these iconic clear glass jars are fabulous for storing everything from herbal creations to kitchen confections. Made in the Auvergne region of south-central France, pantry jars come complete with classic orange gasket seal and easy-to-use clamp down lid. We like to use these jars for storing pantry essentials such as herbs, teas, spices, dry goods, sweet treats, and even for infusing herbal oils at home! We offer these jars individually in 7 oz., 12 oz., and 26 oz. sizes. The height and diameter of each jar are as follows: 7 oz.: 3 1/4” in height, 3” in diameter and can accommodate a label size of 2 1/2” wide x 1 1/4" height. 12 oz.: 3 3/4” in height, 3 1/2” in diameter and can accommodate a label size of 3” wide x 2” height. 26 oz.: 5 1/4” in height, 4 1/4” in diameter and can accommodate a label size of 3 1/4" wide x 3 1/4" height. Label size is a suggestion, please make sure to test label size for your application. While this type of bail lid jar is often called a “traditional canning jar”, they are no longer recommended for home canning use as there is no sure way to determine that a vacuum seal has formed.
