Product details
Fall in love with this amazing black tea solely produced in Japan. Mostly known for green teas, Japan began producing this floral, malty sweet black tea in the late 19 th, early 20 th century to tap into the world market for black teas dominated by India and China. Harvested in the warm summer months from the Yabukita cultivar, Wakocha tea is less bitter and astringent than its Indian and Sri Lankan black tea counterparts, with a more floral and honey aroma. Available in 1.7 oz. retail jar, 3 oz. retail tin, and 1 lb. size.
Contains caffeine.

The Best black tea I’ve tasted. I do not need a bitter flavor to wake me in the morning. I want a mellow full bodied flavor to sit with and enjoy the day beginning.
I really love this tea. It’s great with a little honey. Wonderful product.
Not bitter
Chocolaty tasting tea. Very unusual special tea.
