So yummy, and it gives me a boost without giving me the shakes or making me nervous like coffee does. Plus, I steeped it for longer than I had intended, and it was not bitter at all. Love it and will be ordering more! Thank you!

Product details
Organic medium roasted yaupon tea ( Ilex vomitoria) is a delicious brew native to the Southern United States. A tasty, smooth, and naturally sweet tea, yaupon was used by the indigenous peoples of the region for thousands of years and has recently been rediscovered and has become widely available. This holly-like plant is the northern cousin of the yerba maté and guayusa plants of South America. Hardy and drought resistant, yaupon is the only naturally caffeinated plant native to North America, growing wildly in the Southern U.S. stretching from Texas to North Carolina.
In comparison to the more familiar teas brewed from the Camellia sinensis plant, yaupon has no tannins, making it difficult to over-steep and does not become bitter easily.
Contains Caffeine

An amazing tea with a hint of lapsang souchong.
.I enjoy Yaupon tea. Unfortunately, my bushes died early this year. Your medium roast is good.
