Yellow dock’s long, thin leaves are curled at the edges, which earns it the nickname curly dock. Known for its thick, yellow, fleshy roots, Rumex crispus has been employed in traditional herbal practices for its wellness-supporting qualities. Yellow dock root can be made into a syrup, decocted as tea, extracted, and infused in oil for topical application.
Curled dock bears multiple clusters of three-winged flowers. Its seeds are green in the summer but they become deep red as they mature. The root of yellow dock is bright yellow below the bark. The root is harvested in late summer after the seeds have begun to turn red.

Thank you for reaching out with your feedback, Terri. We apologize for any confusion regarding the fill amounts of the herbs that you received. As our Claims & Returns team explained when you initially reached out, our herbs are packaged by weight, not by volume. Sometimes, a lighter, fluffier herb weighing 4 ounces cannot fit into a smaller bag, so we have to use a larger one. A good example of this is the Lemongrass you ordered, which, at 4 ounces, needed to be packaged in a larger bag.
In contrast, your Frankincense Resin was packaged in a smaller bag, making it appear fuller, because the resin pieces are very dense and much heavier than Lemongrass. Although both products weigh 4 ounces, they require different bag sizes because of their different densities.
