Stuck in "Export Review" for Two Weeks

I placed an order for a specific electronic component needed urgently for a car repair.

Timeline and Delay:

October 24th: Order placed. It immediately went into "Export Review" despite having completed a required form during the initial checkout process.

October 24th - November 3rd: After the initial submission, I was later asked to provide business documents and was sent the exact same compliance form again, a week after placing the order. I submitted the form a second time immediately, clarifying that the component was for a personal car repair (not mass production or resale).

I also called Customer Service twice to try and escalate the situation but received no clear response or resolution on either attempt.

November 3rd: Mouser confirmed receipt of the required compliance form (the second submission).

Current Status: Despite providing all requested documentation and having the final form confirmed as received, the order remains completely stalled in the Export Review process.

This level of delay—now starting on October 24th, with wasted time due to administrative redundancy (the duplicate form), and no clear answers via phone—is absolutely unacceptable and frankly baffling. Mouser has demonstrated zero sense of urgency, even after being notified of the critical nature of the part.

If you rely on Mouser for parts you need quickly, beware of the unpredictable and paralyzing "Export Review" process. I am highly disappointed and currently unable to complete a necessary repair due to this bottleneck. I strongly advise finding an alternative supplier for urgent electronic needs.

Why do you allow people to order stuff…

Why do you allow people to order stuff from your website if you cannot ship them?
When I was ordering items from your website, on the top of the website I selected my country and started ordering items.

Why are you allowing people to add to cart and PAY FOR THE PRODUCTS WHICH YOU CANNOT SHIP???

TO MAKE IT WORSE, IT TAKES YOU 2 DAYS TO LET ME KNOW THAT YOU CANNOT SHIP THE PRODUCT.
How amateurish of a company you need to be that it takes you 2 days to even notice you cannot ship a product?

Additionally, I contacted your support department in order to change the order I made over 24 hours ago with 0 responses yet.

This has been my first and last time I will be shopping with you.
You're a bad company and you should feel bad!

Mouser has been my go-to place to order electronic components for the past 12 years. Stock is outstanding. Shipping cost is very reasonable (I use economy) with quick delivery. Website is easy to use, and component full specifications are readily available via pdf files.

feeling ripped off twice

I actually support your being upfront in regard to the added expense of the tariffs. However, I question the math. 1) you are applying them at retail rates and 2) at a much greater percentage than is being charged the origin country. If I had a choice I would not but from you

Weeks later still waiting for order

Placed order via website 28/9 - still no sign of it arriving 13/10. Very poor/limited communications, with days between replies to emails. Tracking information says the parcel hasn't yet been despatched, customer service say the order was 'incorrectly delivered to the wrong address by the carrier' despite the tracking no backing that up.

I need a new superlative for Mouser service

I'm always impressed with how fast Mouser fulfills an order for me and gets the parts here so fast, but today was even more special -- I placed an order as usual, but late in the day I realized that I needed some 120 Ohm resistors to replace wrong ones used in an RS485 subsystem for terminating resistors -- I called mouser to see if I could add them to the order that was being fulfilled -- I couldn't they were so fast the first order was boxed up already. But she offered to waive the shipping if I would call back right away with an order number. I did and she did, so that is very special 6 star service but you don't give me 6 stars so I had to use 5.
