Best Astro gadget I've ever purchased…
Best Astro gadget I've ever purchased ever. End of Story.
Polar alignment has always been a pain...this laser fixes that and makes it super simple. I have the iOptron Skyguider Pro. I screw it in, shoot the laster, and point to Polaris. It gets me to where Polaris is in the polar scope 100% of the time, on the first try. No going back and forth, hunting, wondering if I have the right star. It's visual, it's simple, and it's quick! I then make fine adjustments from there, and I'm off and running. I can't recommend this enough. It's the best $50 I've spent on improving my enjoyment of astrophotography bar none!!!
Wow...what an amazing device
Wow...! What an introduction to long exposure astrophotography, Absolutely amazing piece of kit and so small, it fits in my back pack with my Canon R6 16mm 2.8, 24-70 2.8 and my 70-200 f2.8, love it and soo easy to align with the laser pointer. Roll on the long winter dark skies. Highly recommended.
Great Addition to the Camera bag!
Wow! Great Addition to the Camera Bag!
Works great after a few tries. So much easier to focus the lens. Before did my best to focus during daylight but that was a pain! I also ordered the adapters for several of my lens sizes. Hanna in Customer Service has made all of my orders from Move Shoot Move easy!!
Works Very Well
I purchased it at the end of July and used it August 11 without issue. it worked really well for the Milky Way and Perseid Shower. Several of the photographers in the group were using it and all had good experiences.
Makes precise polar alignment a pleasure rather than a pain in the neck
My first opportunity to use the right angle polar scope viewfinder was polar aligning an iOptron SkyGuider Pro in preparation for recording the Perseid meteor shower with 14mm lens on full frame DSLR tracking the radiant. Accurate polar alignment was a not a necessity in this case, but so easy and pleasant to perform, why not?
Perfect fit
Perfect fit
Works exactly as advertised. Fit perfectly on my scope and holds my IPhone 14 plus. Love it. A++
Starting with Astrophotography
Starting with Astrophotography
Based on reviews I decided to get the full set of the MSM for my first tracker. The guides provided by the users were excellent and helped me adjust all equipment and get a very good polar alignment.
Now I am working on getting photos of nebulae and improve my Milky Way compositions. I do not feel that I will be needing any new equipment any time soon if ever (except for a couple of accessories).

great entry into astrophotography
Wasn’t quite sure what to expect when I ordered it, but I love it. It’s easy to use especially with the tutorials on the MSM website. The complete kit has everything you need except for the tripod, camera, & lens. Small, easy to carry, easy to set up. I strongly recommend getting an intervalometer or you will be standing by the tripod clicking the shutter every few minutes (as all or at least all of my shutter setting required “bulb”). Highly recommend especially if you are just getting into astrophotography.
MSM Z&V -Tilt and Pan Platform
MSM Z&V -Tilt and Pan Platform
I received this well designed and engineered platform for use on my Star Adventurer GTI star tracker a few weeks ago so my comments are from a few weeks use. It's well made, the bolts tighten sufficiently to hold my Nikon Z6ii with a Samyang 14mm SP lens and small ballhead without sagging for foreground / night sky photography. The levers pull out for ease of use and and parking. The advantages over a ball head mounted on a Vixen Dovetail plate setup, mounted on my tracker, are several- the Z&V backet is compact, it provides much easier positioning of the camera for foreground / milky way compositions once star alignment has been completed and allows the camera / ball head to be positioned in a more balanced position above the tripod. I recommend this product.
Big help.
Big help.
It has now enabled me to get interesting and good quality photos attaching the device to my stereo microscope.
MSM Ballhead.
I bought the MSM Ballhead to use in conjunction with my startracker and Canon 6D as it seemed a solid well built Ball head that was also keenly priced compared to others out there. I was not disappointed as it easily took the weight of my camera with the adjustment knobs being perfect for fine tuning (they are solid and well designed too). The degree markings on the base are very useful for panoramic shooting where you can precisely obtain image overlap for stitching in post processing. This is a great product that I have used in the field and am very happy with it.
MSM phone adapter
A very well made and robust phone holder. It’s far more stable than any of the other makes I have used. Very fine and accurate adjustment is another huge plus on all axis. It’s the best on the market at the moment. Great price and service from MSM as well.

Move Shoot Move are a Scam Company
I ordered my MSM star Tracker and Alyn Wallace Z Mount on the 05th June 2023 and today is the 21st of June 2023 and I still haven’t received my order nor will I receive it for another couple of weeks if at all.
I have had several different Royal Mail tracking numbers sent to me from MSM none of which show on the Royal Mail tracking system. I think I have been ripped off by MSM I have asked for my order to be cancelled twice via e-mail and the reply’s I receive from MSM is that they have today processed my order and they send me a new fictitious Royal mail tracking number. I would urge caution to anyone wanting to purchase from MSM. Personally I would not use them again as I think they are just a scam company. Unfortunately. I have to give this company one star because you can’t leave a zero star rating.
Great, easy to use and super stable - Smartphone Adapte
Did a bit of research on which smartphone holder I wanted for my telescope, I found a lot to be flimsy and hard to use.
This is super easy to use, not flimsy so allows you to find the right adjustment and mostly made of metal which makes it super rigid! Highly recommend

Bought it to do very quick rough polar alignment for my dwarf II telescope it's well constructed and perfect for my requirements
Polar Alignment Made Easy
I tried my bracket for polar alignment using my mobile phone for the first time, and what a brilliant idea it is. By fixing the bracket to the rotator, making sure the phone is secured squarely to the bracket and then using the Spot stars AR facility in the PhotoPills app, alignment with the polar star is easy. Thoroughly recommend this item and the other MSM products I have for Astrophotography.
MSM 3-Axis Smartphone Scope Adaptor
Loving suddenly being able to capture images from my spotting scope. Quality construction, works well as advertised. Thanks MSM!
Precise. Solid. The controls you want!
Device to position iPhone at microscope or telescope eyepiece. I've tried several others without success. This is solid, precise, and has exactly the controls you want in order to position for a good photo through the eyepiece. Bravo!
Move shoot Move

I am using it in Singapore. The North Star is just above the horizon. I use the mobile phone attachment and an appropriate app to align with the North Star. It has been working well. Equipment is small and light and easy to carry. Able to handle my camera and lens with out issue. The Z plate is also well used. Thank you. Will try MSM for time lapse next. Thank you.
