Movieberry is not closed-it's being blocked. Censorship. I've been using it for years and it's always been a great service. A few years ago the powers that be tried to make it impossible to pay for the service and I wrote to movieberry and they helped me find a solution. They've been after them for years and it seems they've finally found a way to keep it from us.
Money Gone too site closed A Total Rip Off
They took my money a couple months ago and are now closed. Totally ripped me off with no recourse
I don't know about the 2.5 rating but I've had a pretty good running with Movieberry over the years. Sure a few glitches here and there but overall a good experience.
I’ve sent off my payment of $29 and it’s shown as deposited. I selected a film to watch on line but when it appeared there was a red bar and a message can’t open. Tried a second film again would not open and sight of a Bell appeared with Aline through it.
I’m trying to get my money back via PayPal but this will take weeks. So be careful with using moviberry,
I love this site, I have been able to find a lot of the older movies I like.
Suddenly now the site doesn't load at all? Has Movieberry just closed?
Been using it for a while. Both myself and my sister. Fast downloading speed. but you have to look carefully about the quality of the copy . Can not find a lot of popular movies. I just noticed, while watching 50 shades darker, you could see a split where two film are normally spliced. So doing some checking I found the movie is 2 hr and 18 minutes. The copy I downloaded from movieberry is only 1 hr and 45 minutes. They changed an R rated movie to a G rated movie. That got me thinking and I started to check some of my other downloads. In all cases at least 15 minutes had been cut in the downloads from Movieberry. What's the point of continuing to give them money when it's going to cost me more money to go out and buy it a store to see the entire movie?
I have tried download some movies, I uploaded $30 and started downloading. I could download 3 movies, which is great. But then I had to restart my PC as the internet connection cut out. As soon I logged in again, my whole credit (still about $21) disappeared.
The 3 movies I have downloaded work well and are great, but a bit disappointed that I could not do anything about my left over credit.
I wanted to download a couple of films for Christmas, but cannot find movieberry anywhere. They have disappeared. No contact address, no explanation, nothing.
There was approximately $50 on my account. Does anyone know what happened to them?
I have been a good customer of Movieberry, and recently needed to "top up" my account. When I tried to do so with my Visa card (the only one they accept) I kept getting message that card was not valid. I sent them several messages to say that I was unable to send them money because their web site inform me the card is valid, I explain to them that I use it for many things on line, before and since and so there must be a fault on their web site. The responses were always same, ignored my reasoning and simply tell me that I must use a different card. btw they only accept Visa. Its an excellent site great content, but the management are unbelievable. I mean who runs a business that does not make it easy to get money.
every time i charge my account with a credit card, my account gets hacked within no time even though i did not use my card elsewhere. i start getting details of transactions that i did not enter into. i have had to block my card every time this happened. this has happened twice in the last few months. there is something very very fishy about this outfit. i have since discontinued using it. would advise user caution while dealing with them.
I remember being a bit hesitant when I signed up a couple of years ago and handed over my first 30USD (works in dollars even from UK) because to be honest, we all know something fishy must be going on to have these films so quick and for so cheap. But I've been moved to write this review because 3 years on I am still using it and can't fault the service. I am just surprised there are not more reviews here! There are 3 different qualities of film available, the iphone versions are brilliant (and so cheap) for getting kids videos for ipods, DivX is fine for general use (we play on a PS3 straight from the DivX on a USB key) and we did get some things in HQ although these need playing on a PC or converting to another format before playing on a DVD player. I have opened 4 support tickets now, 3 were successfully and speedily resolved by a refund (eg. when no subtitles were available on a foreign film), the last was a cinavia issue - the film wouldn't play properly (the sound cut out) after 30 minutes of playing on the PS3. Movieberry said unfortunately they would only guarantee the films played on a PC - so no prob, we just watched it via a different method. We have had success with plex streaming to get round any these problems by the way. Anyway - movieberry - bit dodgy, but still a good service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend!
I don't have an iPad so iTunes is not an option. Movieberry, so far has been fantastic. Have downloaded SEVEN series of Grey's Anatomy. And at 68 cents per episode it's well worth it. Downloads take 5 minutes each and it's quick and fast. Films are cheap and almost instantly available as they're in the cinema. Excellent website - would recommend.
Unlike another company which received many negative reviews here I have had absolutely no complaints so far about this one, downloads are fast and reliable. Movies are available in several formats from LQ (low quality) to HD high definition. You can even waatch online first to judge quality for yourself.
Fantastic selection of tv shows as well.
MONTHLY SUBSCIPTION IS 39.90 USD not EUROS This allows up to 20 downloads per day and cancelation is very easy. customer support is very good as well. I could go on and on but have been a member for a few months now and no complaints so far.
