They sent me a very low resolution print, completely inadequately packaged. The poster arrived, covered in creases. And then they completely ignored my emails of complaint. Oh and they weren’t cheap either, I spent nearly £50 for the privilege.

At best incompetent, at worst downright dishonest. Avoid like the plague.

I needed an out-of-print DVD that I couldn't find anywhere! They had it. I received it in very quickly. Normally, that doesn't matter but I was going to a meet and greet with Burton Cummings and I thought this would be a cool thing for him to sign. I had ordered the wrong movie (faulty memory) from eBay and didn't have much time before the concert. The DVD was ordered on a Monday and I received it on that Saturday. I did pay for the 2 day shipping but neglected to say that I needed it fast. They processed and shipped promptly. I cannot thank them enough but here goes: THANKS!!!!

I ordered a large James Bond photo and it was perfect. Nice print quality and shipped perfectly.

Ordered 16x20 photo from Moviestore.com and it shipped the same day (A plus!). I just received it today and while the quality is okay (looks like it was printed on a home printer) because the image wasn't really sharp, more dull and flat like it's been copied many times before, I am upset with how they shipped it. I've bought and shipped many photos and posters over the years but I've never shipped a photo or poster where the actual front (image side) is rolled up on the outside. I'm glad that the image on the photo wasn't damaged but this is a really incompetent way to ship a photo or poster!!! There is no way that I can re-roll the photo properly without damaging it. Now I have to send it to signed knowing that the signature will be exposed when it gets mailed back to me. Not sure if it was an accident but this was unacceptable.

Ordered five times from The Movie Store between 2017 and 2022. Some pictures were excellent, others much lower quality. As there are no similar companies here in Australia, I kept ordering.

Sixth order never showed up. Grudgingly given a refund after emails repeatedly ignored.

Ordered again in December 2022. Tracking showed pix got to Australia and disappeared. The Movie Store refused a refund, even though there was clear evidence the prints were never delivered. Company often ignored emails.

Months later the tracking showed the prints were on their way back to America as they had been wrongly addressed and therefore undeliverable. Company acknowledged the prints had been returned, but still refused a refund.

A complaint to the Better Business Bureau (an American consumer rights organization) resulted in BBB being ignored by The Movie Store.

I eventually had to do charge back on my Visa card, resulting in a full refund after about eight months of hassle from The Movie Store.

I would not order from The Movie Store if you are an international customer.
