Pen and ink arrived the next day - exceptionally well packed. Very pleased with the pen. Had been disappoiinted with Parker Sonnet that despite a fairly new nib and intense cleaning still refused to write smoothly. This pen is far superiour at a lower price.

This is my third purchase of a pen from Mr Pen and the transaction was faultless, as on the previous occasions. The Italix pen is of good quality and exactly as described.

Before buying the Captain's commision, i watched some reviews on Youtube.
I thought that the pen would be good for the money that they asked me.
I received it today and the pen is awesome (style+writing). The nib is smooth and i loved my nib choise ( Italic Broad 1.3mm). Thank you guys...

No false promises, delivery exceeded expectation. Next day delivery fast and efficient. Captain's Commission pen a pleasure to use from the first dip in the ink. Medium italic nib beautifully ground and smooth with good ink flow and very easy to write with. My only criticism is a minor one - it is a shame the cap is loose when posted, it needs a firm click location to prevent it falling off during use like the Churchman's Precriptor. Otherwise the value is outstanding, being nearly as good as my Waterman Man 200, for which an italic nib alone would cost £98!

I was looking for a gift to give to my best man for my wedding and I had been talking to the jewellers I bought my wedding rings at. I found a really nice pocket watch and enquired about it. I was told that they could not engrave on the pocket watch due to the chrome finish. I then had a look online, found this site and also found the exact same pocket watch. I enquired about graving and was told that is was possible, not only that but they were also able to imprint my family coat of arms on the back bonus. The communication was first class and the product arrived within the week. The work is so good I am thinking of getting one for myself and my father.

Having inadvertently purchased an unsatisfactory Parsons Italix from another web site, Mr Pen advised me which pen would suit me better and to return the previous one. This I did and was delighted to get my beautiful velvet green italic Italix with its fine oblique nib. Very firm nib which is exactly what I wanted....I was unsure about it before it arrived, as I have bought very much more expensive pens including a Parker Duofold with an italic nib that I am not happy with. This pen really lives up to its expectations.
The service was brilliant, the pen beautifully made and finished, and not Chinese, but made in Crewe. So all in all TERRIFIC.

I am so pleased with my recent purchase from MrPen.co.uk. I bought the Churchman's Prescriptor and you get so much pen for your money!

I ordered it over the christmas holidays and still received a prompt delivery which was great. Also, my eyes were bigger than my belly when I ordered the 1.3mm stub so Mr Ford promptly offered me a replacement narrower nib free of charge!

I ordered two Parson's Essential pens based on Stephen Brown's glowing reviews, and I was not disappointed. I kept one for myself, and gave one to my mother. She has not used a fountain pen since high school, and she missed the experience. She loves the Parson's, and she uses it everyday. I love mine as well. My nib is an Italic Broad, and it is one of the smoothest I have ever used. The ink flow is even, juicy and smooth no matter how fast I write. Even though it isn't flexible (it's not meant to be), I love it just as much as my Namiki Falcon. The shape of the nib provides line variation. Shipping to the United States was fast, and I will order from Mr. Pen again.

I have never been disappointed with an Italix pen. They are all metal and have the feel of quality. The most important thing about a pen for me is that it does what it's supposed to do - write without hard starts and skips. I say, without reservation, Mr. Pen is the best company in which to purchase pens. The service is outstanding and my orders always ship immediately. This past order was a special order. I requested something different, and Mr. Ford had no reservations about satisfying a customer. Thank you, Mr. Ford for your most excellent customer service. The fountain pen is excellent. Actually better than my Mont Blanc in the way it writes and feels. I can't put it down.

I bought a fountain pen from P.J. Ford & Associates Ltd via Amazon UK. I needed further information on the variety of pens available, as well as the choice of nibs. Through several emails I was able to reach an informed decision as to the best pen to meet the needs of my friend, for whom the pen was a gift. This item was dispatched and received very quickly. My friend had to try the pen to discover whether it was suitable for them. Unfortunately the nib was not quite right but the company were still happy to exchange this for an alternative, despite being used once, which was again received very quickly. The customer service throughout this transaction was excellent and I would thoroughly recommend that you shop with this company.

I have just bought two (2) Italix Fountain Pens.......
1st Is the Churchman's Prescriptor & the 2nd is the Parsons Essential.
First things you notice is the Fit & Finish are top notch and represent great value for money.

Whilst the "Churchmans is approx 10g heavier it still feels quite agile too move around.

I use my "Churchmans for Signiture and the Parsons for notes and letters

I incorrectly received my pen with light engraving on the barrel that was swiftly corrected with receipt of a new barrel without asking for one. Purchased an Italix Parson's Essential fountain pen with a fine nib. I had read several reviews on FPN, FPG, and SBREBrown's youtube review, and decided to purchase one. One of the main draws for me was the wet writing setup and smooth nib. After receipt, I inked up with Noodler's black and immediately got down to writing. Very smooth nib. Especially smooth writer - my favorite writing by far. No skipping, no problems. Am very satisfied with my purchase experience - great communications on order status and shipment tracking information was superb. Was able to track my shipment from the UK to Nevada on USPS tracking. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Pen / Mr. Ford's company, or an Italix Parson's Essential fountain pen.

I have purchased Trio Italix fountain pens and purple leather pen case. It was a very easy transaction and super fast shipping. Mr Pen is a really excellent seller, I would highly recommend Mr. Pen to anyone who like nice and not very expensive pens.

I am very happy with the pen, Parson's Essential . but would like more options for payment. the site says Visa is an option but the only option I could get to work is Paypal. Paypal charges about 3% more on the conversion to Canadian dollars than my Amazon Visa Card
