We purchased an Oxford Captain's Bunk Bed for our 3 year old granddaughter, from Mrs. Flatpack. Everything, from ordering, through to delivery went smoothly and without problems. They were promt and efficient in confirming our order, kept us informed of delivery date and acknowledged all emails, confirming that the delivery address was different to the ordering one. They notified our daughter of the delivery time and delivered on time. My wife and I assembled the bed and were impressed with the quality of the product and the clarity of the instuctions. Yes, it does take time to construct the bed, we took about 8 hours spread over 3 days, but we quite enjoyed doing it! Our granddaughter loves the bed, not least the space under the bunk, where she can hide from her mother! We have no reservation in recommending this company, based on our experience in purchasing this product.

I placed an order via the mrsflatpack website as the range of products were exactly what I was looking for for my son's small bedroom and not only that the prices were very competitive indeed. I was able to place the order for the Cambridge high sleeper and mattress with little fuss and all the confirmation emails etc came through quickly. I made a call to the office about a week or two later to check all was ok and spoke to a lovely lady who assured me all was going well and it would be with me the following week, which turned out to be fact.

The bed arrived about 3 weeks after ordering (Christmas got in the way so no issue with this time frame, plus beds seem to be made to order!), and one thing that pleased me was how helpful the delivery driver was. He called me the day before to make sure I was about for the delivery, as it happened I wouldn't be but he had no problem delivering to another address 1 mile away where someone would be in. The following day he was calling me every 20-30 minutes giving me live updates to his whereabouts so that we knew exactly when to expect him, can honestly say I've seen or heard of anything like this before, talk about going out of your way to keep the customer happy!

The bed arrived on a Wednesday but it wouldn't be till Saturday that I started building it. It was obvious from opening the boxes that everything was of a very high quality, nice solid pieces of wood, nice strong coatings, and quality fixings. The quality of the coating became apparent when I accidentally dropped one piece onto another and instead of scratching it like flat pack furniture from other bigger companies, not a single mark was left on it!

I ended up finishing putting it together on Monday (was doing it on and off for a couple hours a day), and even though it took some time to put together it was such a pleasure to do, really did enjoy working through it all, the instructions were great and no guess work was needed, and all the holes drilled right which made it so much easier.

The only problem I had was one of the backboards was missing (one of the final pieces on the final pages of the instructions, typical!). However I called yesterday afternoon about 1pm and spoke to a very polite chap who was very apologetic for it, and took down my details and got one ordered for me. To my utter amazement the piece arrived by courier at 7:30am this morning, barely 18 hours after calling up!

Basically this company has provided an absolutely out of this world customer service of a quality that I have never experienced before, there was literally nothing they could have done better, completely exceeded everything I could ever ask for. The bed as well is of such a high quality I know it will last many many years and my son is absolutely delighted with it, which is the absolute main thing.

Its reassuring that small companies like this still exist that make their own product (no imports here) and have it shipped straight from the factory to you, plus you get that one on one customer care that big companies just can't offer. Highly recommend mrsflatpack, you really can't go wrong.

Started assembling the Cambridge high bed to discover that they had sent a box of parts off of another bed.Then over the weekend i could not speak to anyone so had to talk via text.I was promised the parts would arrive Monday then Monday i was told Wednesday it is now Wednesday and I've just been told Friday.How hard can it be to get the parts from Leicester to Chesterfield ? WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Ordered a cabin bed from my son after reading fab reviews for this company. Contacted them 5 days after placing the order to see if we could get an estimate of a delivery date. The lady we spoke to was very rude and sarcastic, no help at all. We were told that we would have to wait for more people in our area to order before delivery would be made (so why did I pay for delivery). Eventually spoke to a different lady who was much more helpful, she explained that deliveries are not made until the van is full, and that as a delivery was made in my area a few days before, it would be at least 3 weeks before we would receive our order. We then cancelled the order and have been issued a refund, and have ordered from a much more helpful and honest company.

I really cannot praise this company enough. We had a very tight deadline to meet with delivery as this was a surprise for our son whilst he holidayed with his Grandparents. The team at Mrsflatpack couldn't do enough. The bed arrived as promised on the Saturday. Quality is great, instructions for construction very straight forward and our little man is absolutely delighted with his new room as are we. A huge thank you to all at Mrsflatpack. Refreshing to deal with a company who genuinely put their customers first. Products are well priced and it will be my first port of call in future. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

I have ordered two beds from Mrsflatpack, a low cabin with desk and a taller "Calder" unit. Both products have arrived within the 14 day window which was quoted on the website and the courier service were excellent at communicating when they would be arriving.
The products were well packaged, preventing damage.
Assembly was not overly complicated as the manuals were clear and easy to understand. Parts were labelled clearly and no parts were missing.
Construction of the units took around 4 hours and I would recommend that this should be a two person build for the cabin units (although I managed on my own, I should have sought help).
The finished items are solid, look great and function perfectly.
Before buying the beds, I looked around for reviews for Mrsflatpack and struggled so thought it worth writing one myself to help get this well kept secret out there, Mrsflatpack are to be trusted and manufacture products of superb quality.

Trust this business, I will be using again...

I'm a little premature having not yet assembled the product but I wanted to act fast and commend Mrsflatpack for their excellent customer service. I had very limited availabilty for delivery times and they have been most patient and communicative to ensure I could take delivery, it's so nice to deal with sensible human beings! Wish me luck as I embark on cabin bed construction, single-handed!

I purchased 2 cabin beds from this company. Ordering was made easy via the internet which had lots of information regards sizes etc on the website also was able to use pay pal for payment.
Delivery arrived 3 day after ordering where the delivery company contacted me via phone the day before delivery to give approximate time of arrival. All packages arrived in great condition and packed well.
Unpacked the boxes where there was no issues with any missing parts or any damage and extra screws had been included. I was under no impression that this project was going to be a fast and took approximately 10 hours for the first bed and the second bed 5 hours this was mainly just 1 person putting them together and a second helping every now and again (due to her having a broken ankle and was very limited to what she could do). The instructions were reasonably clear but as with all flat packs you needs to concentrate to get it all right.
Once erected they were of good standard and very sturdy. The beds were for 2 boys ages 8 and 9 years old to which I now have to prise them out of there rooms as they love them so much.
After service has also been good as I wanted some more trim (for other areas of the bed which are normally out of view but I wanted to have them covered). I had an instant reply via the email from there customer services.
All in all had a great purchasing experience with this company.

If you want a brilliant, friendly and fast service then Mrs Flatpack is the place to go. After a fiasco with Argos, I decided to source another bed for my 7 yr old daughter and am I delighted I came across Mrs Flatpack. From start to finish the customer service was second to none. I drove down to Oakham to fetch the cabin bed as it is only 30 mins from my home. I was warmly greeted and told to bring my car to the loading area, the bed was then put into my car and I then signed for the collection. All this took less than 10 mins! I was even home for tea!!
By the way the bed is also top notch, cheaper than Argos too and easier to put together! I cannot fault this company and have already passed on the name to friends and work colleagues!

I am absolutely thrilled with the cabin bed and more importantly, my son thinks "it's sick and awesome!".
It took ages to put together but I'm not complaining as it is so well made and solid, which when it is going to hold precious cargo, is exactly what a parent wants and well worth the effort.
The wardrobe is a good size, many others I looked at that were more expensive, suffered from bad design where the wardrobe dimensions left little hanging space.
Also, the delivery man was exemplary! Text the night before and on progress through his journey the next day so i could narrow down the time we had to be in. We have steps up to our house and have experienced a range of attitudes to delivering here over the years, but he did it without complaint and with a smile.
In addition, the delivery was really fast and I really appreciated them paying attention to my request so that my son had it in time for his birthday! The instructions were systematic and clear - don't try to cut corners or you'll miss something vital. First sleepover tomorrow - it's going to be a long night!!
Couldn't ask for more.

Ordered a High top bed/ wardrobe from Mrs Flatpack for my daughter's bedroom
last saturday and rang on monday to see if I could get it any quicker than the 5 to 15 days on the order as it was her birthday on thursday . Wow it arrived on tuesday ,
put it together wednesday evening . Nothing missing or damaged , helps to use a cordless screwdiver and 2 beers ! She was over the moon and I got a load of brownie points from Mum .
I supply British kitchens and was very surprised by the quality for the price .
I would definitely reccomend Mrs Flatpack to my friends .

I spent months looking for a suitable bed for my daughter and was a little sceptical that the price of the Rutland bed with all the features of the Stompa and Thukka high sleepers was significantly cheaper. I left it a little late as it was fast approaching my daughter's birthday so I called the company for a delivery quote which was around £40 and placed the order over the phone there and then. They were able to check their transport timetable and get a very swift delivery. The company call and text on the day of delivery to give you a two hour time slot. The gentleman who delivered the bed realised an hour after the delivery that there was still an item for us in his van ... he drove back knowing it would be another two hour round trip to get back to where he was. The instructions were amazing, but as with any flat pack furniture, it's essential you follow the simple, easy to follow instructions. We slipped up and put some wooden pegs in holes that screws should have gone in - be careful placing the pegs in panels A and B. When we tried to correct the mistake by drilling the pegs out ... we slipped with a drill and ruined a panel. I always judge companies on their aftercare ... how they put mistakes right and I have to say Mrs Flatpack has the best aftercare I have EVER come across. We were offered solutions for covering over the damage which was posted out immediately and were offered a very reasonably priced replacement panel. The same delivery man arrived with the replacement panel and was very concerned that HE had forgotten the item the last time as he obviously takes great care to provide an exceptional service ... I assured him we were to blame, much to his relief.

The ONLY downside IF you can call it that is that the bed is of such good quality that the boxes were very heavy and because of the size and features such as the desk, cupboard and pull out sofa bed there were 6 large boxes in total... but if like me you insist on good quality solid furniture this is actually a positive.

Well done Mrs Flatpack!!! Would highly recommend you goods, service, delivery and aftercare!!! :-D

Ordered Exeter cabin bed on Tuesdsy evening and it arrived Friday morning.

Easy to assemble and the quality is brilliant.

Bought the Cambridge High Sleeper Cabin Bed inc Wardrobe, Chest of Drawers, Bookcase, Desk with Shelving, this bed was very well packaged,i was phone called as soon as i made the online purchase, fantastic customer service, everything arrived with no bits missing, good sturdy bed, once constructed, although my partner is a joiner he had problems working from the instruction sheet that was provided, as the instruction sheet had three pages missing, between page 11 & 15 he was able to get through this, but caused the time of the bed to be put up taking 6 hours, definately need to have a DIY person around who no's what thay are doing, proved challenging throughout,

We left choosing a bed for our son for Christmas quite late, but found his perfect bed at 'mrsflatpack'. Their customer service was really quite fantastic - delivery was extremely quick and the driver most helpful. We assembled the bed on Christmas Eve, having sent our son to a friend for the evening as it was to be a Christmas surprise! The instructions were excellent, and whilst it took a little while to put together, the bed looks 'a million dollars' and well worth our efforts.
The look on our son's face when he saw it the next day really made our Christmas - the bed has EVERYTHING .... a wardrobe, desk, drawers, storage etc. etc.
We will certainly be visiting mrsflatpack's web site again ....... and still think they should be changing their name to Mrs. FAB Pack.!!!
Will be recommending them to everyone we know.

We ordered two beds recently, the 'Shorty cabin bed' and the 'Children's midi cabin bed'.

The positives:

- Generally, the beds are very well made and extremely solid.
- Shipping was a bit slow, but when I emailed to say that we needed the beds before my stepdaughters birthday, they made sure that they did indeed arrive before.
- The delivery driver phoned the evening before and gave us a delivery slot between 7:30am and 8:00am, which they stuck to.
- When we put up the 'Children's midi cabin bed' we quickly noticed that the desk hadn't been delivered. I emailed MrsFlatpack and they posted it by next day courier.
- The instructions were workable. Not much worse than Ikea, actually clearer in the sense that all MDF panels are labelled with a corresponding letter. Of course assembly took a long time. At least 5 hours for the 'Shorty cabin bed' and 4 hours for the 'Children's midi cabin bed'. But that should be expected, as you're essentially assembling several pieces of furniture in one.
Aside from the missing desk, all parts and screws arrived complete.

The negatives:

- While the beds are great quality, the accessories are not.
- The desk basically doesn't assemble and stick together, even when you follow the instructions in perfect detail. In order to stop it from simply falling apart we needed to fit metal brackets on the inside as well as glue the sides.
-The drawers are mostly glued rather than screwed, which brings about a much cheaper feel than the rest of the construction. The drawers in the 'Shorty cabin bed' only rest on plastic tracks. The ones on the 'Children's midi cabin bed' at least have proper extending metal track.
-Some of the instructions are poorly ordered, meaning that they're unnecessarily complicated. Thinking along and switching some steps around will help you assemble more easily and with fewer people.

Overall however I would very much recommend this company and would buy from them again.

After purchasing a High Sleeper Cabin Bed from them a few years ago (the whole experience from price to delivery was fantastic) we decided it was time for my son to have a new room and a bigger bed. We sold the cabin bed but in the process of taking it down a piece got broken, we contacted Mrsflatpacks to see if we could get a replacement part and how much it would cost, as they made the beds themselves this wasn't a problem. They even kindly sent the part for free and paid for the delivery. Talk about going that extra mile! You can't go wrong using Mrsflatpacks and believe me I have used a lot of bed and furniture companies to know a good one.

Excellent value for money and top quality beds. They do take a while to assemble but when the beds are up they're very sturdy and reflects on the building time. Highly recommendable company.

Love our fire engine beds for our 3 1/2 year old twins, clear instructions for assembly, very robust when built, can't wait to let the boys see!! Would recommend these for any young budding firemen. Thank you Mrs Flatpack!
