Overall we had a great experience. Ship was lovely and very clean. Only issue was that some service could be slow both in the main dining room and at the bars. We had paid for the Aurea experience and... See more

Beautiful ship enjoyed the luxury of the yacht club.
Great cruise and great experience. English was not the first language for many staff and put my daughter off the kids club as she didn’t understand what was going on, but appreciate we went on a European cruise and most guests may have been Spanish/Italian.
Overall good, already have another booked 😄

You get what you pay for, decent enough cruise but not anything amazing. All round average.
Everything was fantastic great staff and accommodation
MSC Yacht Club was fantastic the staff are very friendly always ready to help, a great experience, I booked a second Cruise in the Yacht Club. The rest of the ship was quite crowded, the staff and other guests a lot less friendly. From my experience i would rather pay a little more for Yacht Club that included spa, premium drinks and WiFi. By the time you add spa, drinks etc to a normal Balcony cabin the overall price is not so much less than the Yacht club, which is more affordable than other cruises lines VIP experience and some of the more deluxe Cruise lines.
Amazing cruise, friendly staff, exceptional weather, fantastic ship world europa and as always the Yacht Club did not disappoint. Can’t wait for the one 😁
Embarkation was fine, cabin was fine steward was great. Food was repetitive and bland, buffet was a real bun fight. Lots of staff around and if they had been cleaning up it might have been a bit better. M D R times clashed with show availability so it was one or the other not both a lot of the time. Lifts were good tbh and disembarking was good. What was the real let down was the ports of call. Sold as a Norwegian Fjords cruise you expect stunning views, majestic mountains and hills, rivers, glaciers that sort of thing. If you don't handle disappointment we'll stay away from this cruise as you get none of those. Edinburgh, "the weather's turned, it will take much longer to get on the tender and please bear in mind you may have to wait 2 to 3 hours exposed to the wind and rain waiting for a return tender", "it may be best just to stay on-board and enjoy the facilities here". Granted you're not in control of the weather but given Scotlands ability to switch modes in an instant why not Dock your tenders somewhere that can accommodate them with cover for your passengers many of whom are elderly or disabled. None of the Norwegian stops were remotely 'fjordish'. To go anywhere off ship that could provide the views and scenery expected to be seen from our cabin balcony you had to pay additionally for a private rib boat excursion which if elderly or disabled you couldn't do anyway. It's not just us, look at the amount of people saying the same thing over and over again.

The MSC Yacht Club is an exceptional product and truly delivers on its promise. You will be indulged with excellent food and outstanding service, along with access to a private area of the ship, your own restaurant, and dedicated bar. There is no need to search for a seat, a sunbed, or space in the jacuzzi, as everything is designed to offer comfort, exclusivity, and ease throughout what is, a memorable experience.
Fantastic yacht club experience and itinerary on this eastern med, Greece and turkey cruise
First and last time sailing with MSC. We usually cruise with Celebrity or NCL.
Bad experience on embarkation re our cabin. There was a fault in the room from many days before we got onboard and this information was not communicated. We then got downgraded from the cabin class we had booked and paid for.
Lack of organisation especially tender port where it was an accident ready to happen. (No safe system in place)
Inside temperature of the ship was cold.
Food lukewarm in MDR but butchers cut food amazing. Buffet was just ok.
Great selection of drinks.
Good selection of bar areas and entertainment. Strings (payable) was amazing.
Good layout of the ship, lots of lifts, bathrooms and places to socialise.
In my opinion this ship is not suitable for people with mobility issues especially the ports. MSC will only offer assistance on day of embarkation and disembarkation (that is also questionable) unless you want to rent a wheelchair.

We booked a cruise to the Norwegian Fjords. We did not see any Fjords as you would expect to see, it was a cruise of Norwegian coast towns - Stavanger, Haugesund and Kristiansand. All lovely but not what we were expecting and everyone we spoke to felt the same.

The ship is very luxurious but unfortunately the staff do not meet it. Staff are rude, non existent at times. Long queuing at bars, to be ignored and skipped. Msc was suggested from family members and we picked it on there past experiences and even they said it was the worst service they have ever had. We brought our mother for her 70th birthday, there was 11 of us. Public bathroom areas were never clean, on previous cruises toilets are closed regularly to clean but not on msc. Never seen lifts being cleaned, at one point I saw 2 muffins on the floor of a lift and they were still there hours later. Broken glass on one of the floors, still there later. Staff all appeared the day before we left all engaging and asking for 10s but weren’t there the rest of the week. Drinks package aswell, fine all week the. Charged for water the day before we left, but cans of juice etc are included, but not cans of water to be told this the day before we left was strange. Dining was great in the bubbles restaurant and I think all staff could take a leaf out the staffs book in there.

The Virtuosa itself is beautiful and the staff amazing. The fact it is advertised as a Norwegian Fjords Cruise is misleading as you don't get to sail through any fjords. You need to pay for an additional shore excursion to see the Fjords.
The inside cabins are very nice with plenty of space.
The choice of food in both the Main Restaurant and the Buffet was plentiful and our waiters Munu and Mohit Kumar were exceptional.
Limited seating in the bar areas, both through the day and the evening, for the number of passengers onboard. We were a party of 4 adults and struggled to find seats. We had to sit in the pool area most nights where nothing was going on but the staff in the pool bar were great.
Our first cruise and we shall definitely cruise with MSC again
We cannot fault this cruise at all. From dining to relaxing, room service, cleanliness, time in ports, embarking and disembarking very organised and not stressful at all
