What a shitshow!

We just got off Opera this morning.
It has been a week with shitshow everywhere.

The very first day we went to get a la carte experience. But now there is a buffet in the restaurant?! If we wanted a buffet, we would go the buffet!!

We also tried going to breakfast in the restaurant. Not happy with the service there.
NO waiters was smiling, happy etc.
They only cared about getting us through! :-(

The waiter pair we had in the dinner restaurant was a total disaster.
They were simply incompetent!
The first thing they asked was bread.
No beverages.
all week it has been a shitshow!
The food was okay, but the service was so bad!!
We were not happy about this experience at all!
Last night they served our red wine after we finished eating our main course.

In all the bars, the waiters was avoiding us - or at least it felt like that.
They looked down when they walked pass our table.
We had to wave our arms high in the air everytime we needed service.
NO waiters was smiling to us, we almost felt like we were in their way!

The bars was incredible slow, and we all had to line up in one line.
They took the order, and put the reciept in a glass. The other staff behind the bar, was very slow. When they took the receipts, they shouted our name, and then they did the order. It took forever - and people were waiting a long time, also for simple orders!
Sometime they also forgot some orders, because they just took the orders in, so it got lost in the process.

The stewardess we had was great, and she did her job very well!

We can clearly see that the ship is old and worn, but that’s okay… there is minor things.

All the public toilets we visited was very disgusting!

This is our 3. cruise with MSC, and we had never experienced service that bad!
If this was our first cruise with MSC, we would never do it again!

We have a booking for the Euribia next year, and if this is the new standard, we will never cruise with MSC ever again!

The Best experince ever- good service

The Best experince ever- good service , good food , clean ship. When we went off the ship, it was just so easy to go on and off.
We went on excursions Which we bought before and it was so good
Perfect holiday with No stress🤩

Having booked a family cruise for my…msc cruises disaster

Having booked a family cruise for my daughter her parner my grandson and myselfe on the MSC Preziosa in two seperate cabins but emphasised we were traveling as a family. i have personally been on many cruises but this was their firstfor them e time to see the benifits of cruising and to enjoy themselves.
On arrival At Southampton we arrived at the check in all four together in forming the agent that we were a family handing our tickets anf paperwork as a unit we were issued with our boarding passes
Unfortunatly when we went down for our evening meal we were refused entry because our cardt were a mixture a different dining times and different tables we complained to no avail and had to go to thr buffer a great stert i complaind and was assured i would be sorted out and give a slip of paper fot the following day which the concierge ignored so another eveninn ruined this continued until i requested a metting with the restaurant manager who again wanted to give me another slip of paper amatuer hour again,i pointed out this could be resolved if he issued new cards which he did if this had been done on day one it wouldhave avoided the distress and embaressment we had suffered on the 3 previous meals.
that evening we were placed on a nice table only to be confronted by a very angry German familywho insisted it was their table my grandson suffers with autism so we asked to be moved away so he would not be disturbed as this upsets him and of course my daughters family and myself shocking disregard of ourselved.
On return i sent an e mail to cruise 1st on the 21st october who then forwarded it to msc complaints
i then phoned them on 9th of November to chase it up and then again on the 16th.
The reply was curt and very dismissve blaming me despite the many complaints and efforts i had made from day one and dismissing my complaint out of hand
i advise anyone traveling on a cruise to avoid MSC at any cost snd deal with a profesional cruise line who will treat their customers with respect and have the ability to deal with complaints swiftly and with the courtesy tp their customers the deserve

Never ever MSC again

Blue sky. Beautiful weather. Many boats sailing around the icebergs, but MCS cruise does not have the capacity, talent, and skills to take its passengers ashore. This is appalling and not acceptable.

250€ paid for internet that didn't work most of the time, and when it worked, it took minutes to load a simple web page.

Ship crowded with crew members often not available when needed (with a few exceptions). An adequately managed ship could have served passengers excellent with much less staff.

All in all a very disappointing experience.

OMG DO NOT book a cruise with MSC until…

OMG DO NOT book a cruise with MSC until this covid is over. They are not giving people their money back...Our cruise was cancelled on 3rd May, money was supposed to be refunded within 120 days we are nearly double that time now still no sign, they just keep making excuses saying technical issues. Or contact your travel agent..the travel agent cant give money back until they get it from MSC and no one can get in touch with accounts dept at MSC.. We want our money back. MSC have had the my money since Jan 25th and WONT REFUND..

Bought a watch on msc meraviglia

Bought a watch on msc meraviglia stopped working after 6 months
Msc wont take any responsibility to repair.

Your rights are with the retailer.

Legally, you have a contract according to the Sale and Supply of Goods Act, and that contract is with the retailer, the person who you paid your money to, and not the manufacturer. Any rights that you have against the manufacturer, such as a warranty, are in addition to your legal rights in consumer law, and so you don’t have to rely on that. Your first port of call should always be the shop.

MSC Musica.

MSC Musica.

Overall: Fine experience.

Service: Bad, the waiters ignore you at every bar - It takes between 10-30 minutes to get something to drink - Only at the restaurant is the service good, we had a waiter called Mukesh who was exceptional at his job.

Condition: Very good.

Stops: Every stop was a joy although it took forever to get on the ship again.

Advice for MSC: Make sure you hire the right people for a service job.

MSC Sinfonia Mediterranean Sea 2016

7 days cruise MSC (Sinfonia), Venice-Split-Santorini-Mykonos-Dubrovnik-Ancona. Departure 2016/07/23 and arrival 2016/07/30.

Previous cruise experience with RCCL, 7 days in Caribbean 2008 (Freedom of the seas) and 7 days in Mediterranean Sea 2012 (Visions of the seas).

Service…staff at pool deck and buffet restaurant were very unhelpful, 8 of 10 in the staff didn’t speak English. Rules were not policed on board by staff that patrolled their designated areas (pool area and area for embarking and disembarking).

Ship...loud propeller noise, comparable to a treadmill with a speed of 6.21 mph, cabin 7157 in the stern.

Food…breakfast with no variation, the same all 7 days. Identical lunch in the restaurant and buffet restaurant with a lack of quality.

Excursions and transfer…cost for excursions in general 2/3 of what MSC charges you in all ports. Shuttlebus in Dubrovnik rented for MSC, from port to old town of Dubrovnik with return ticket. For 2 adults and 1 child MSC charges 38 euro. Local taxi drivers charges 26 euro.

We refused paying service fee (9 euro/day/adult) and only tipped our fantastic housekeeper individually.
