Horrible customer service

This company is a complete nightmare and should never be trusted with something as critical as passwords. The app has completely failed, crashed, and now refuses to open, leaving me locked out of years of data. Customer support is shockingly slow, dismissive, and incapable of helping. Their only response is to wipe my account and permanently delete everything, which proves they have no recovery process and no respect for their users. A password manager that cannot restore access or protect user data is a total failure and a serious risk to anyone considering using it.

Used to be a Quality App

I have been an mSecure customer for many years and had been very satisfied with the App. However, recently, I have been unable to sync my desktop to my phone. I have tried to contact mSecure on multiple occasions but they do not respond. I guess mSecure just doesn't give a damn about their legacy customers. Will find a new App.

Unacceptable attitude towards support

I have been a user of mSecure for over 12 years, and have encouraged others to use it.

I tried to upgrade my version, only to be told that mSecure 6 is NOT an upgrade - it is an entirely new app and has be purchased at full cost on each device. Give it a new name then - don’t confuse customers!

I had a problem with my mac, requiring me to set up a new user account. When I tried to use mSecure 3.5 it demanded a licence key. It refused to accept the key I have recorded.

mSecure will not offer any support because they will only support the new version.

Which such an appalling attitude towards customers, I will be looking elsewhere…..

A good system gone bad after they took my money

I had the free version and loved it. Then it started using face id and that was really great. Then it said I would not be able to use face id for log on without paying. So I paid. And then the face id locked me out and I could not remember the password because I was using face id so I ended up with
1. loss of all my passwords
2. No way to recover my payment because they say there payment system is through apple and they don't have access to same and I could not find it on apple - likely due to a name that is not msecure.
Good program gone bad. do not use it.

V5 buggy, too expensive, & not backwards compatible with win7

Used MSecure 4 for iPad/iPhone for years, it was brilliant and secure for storing sensitive information.
I then was was warned by the company that my version may not work on future iOS upgrades , so I opted to go for the upgrade to the later version MSecure 5, only to find it would no longer sync with my windows 7 PC version, which meant I would have to buy a new PC version also for my win 10 laptop. The latest iPad version was getting on for thirty quid, a more that 60% increase in price from version 4 and I would imagine the pc version would be similar, not only that the latest version is very buggy and not a patch on version 4
