I hate the new Microsoft/msn home page

I hate the new Microsoft/msn home page. It’s very confusing, doesn’t flow well. I use to love the old layout. It was simple to read. I have to go searching for stories. All the moving screens and nothing of interest to read.

Autoplaying Videos Make Me So Mad

I do like the presentation of the news on MSN's site, but the fact that their pages autoplay videos makes me so mad, and more so due to the fact that I am an MCSE and have been through every single recommendation for multiple browsers, including edge, chrome and firefox and whilst videos do not autoplay on any other site, they still autoplay on MSN, and other than installing a browser plugin to specifically place every video behnd a click prompt (which I don't want to do for privacy reasons) there seems to be no way to stop this behaviour.

So whilst I like MSN site, I have decided to stop using it. I feel like Microsoft is getting significantly more invasive. Garbage like this sort of behaviour, Windows 11 deliberately more difficult to use with a local account, and the entire OS basically being heavy Microsoft spyware. With this many niggles with the various businesses and platforms they own, this is the final straw and I think it's probably time to switch over to Linux, use any other news aggregator than MSN, transition away from hotmail, stop using swiftkey, etc etc. If they can't even be trusted to honor a users desire not to be have videos autoplay, then I clearly can't trust them with any of my data either.

Woke Censorship

Woke Censorship. Quite ridiculous how the AI filters look for sensitive words that are often harmless thus your comment is removed or not allowed at all, draconian policing to say the least.

Censorship, racism, clickbaits and favoritism everywhere

Reading MSN "news" abroad and nationals can negatively express themselves about other countries including mine but my comment gets censored for defending myself. Even to the extent of being censored for argumenting on fake news/clickbait articles.
Seems that community guidelines don't apply to everyone.

So much click baiting nonsense that you…

So much click baiting nonsense that you end up commenting on the utter tripe posted for the comment to be removed when you question the sanity of it.
Makes the edge browser even less desirable with the egregious content being shovelled to you on new tabs.

MSN Has Become Ridiculous

People on the Right complaining is funny. I'm a Democrat and I get my stuff deleted and reviewed all the time. The last post I made today was about baking potatoes. It's currently under review. LMAO

It is amazing to se all the complaints…

It is amazing to se all the complaints here from people on the far right. As usual they are whining about msn.com only censoring their statements and letting 'woke' and 'lefties' say whatever they please. OK Karens, time to put your big boy pants on and enough already with your fake grievance and false persecutions of the right. I can tell you msn.com routinely sensors my comments which you would probably consider to be from 'the left'. Of course to you snowflakes everything that doesn't fit into your far right the ideology is from the left. msn.com censors comments very poorly for ALL, so again enough already with your conspiracy theories

How can a major company like MSN…

How can a major company like MSN continue to pollute the world by perpetuating total garbage and click bait. Not only is the content worthless but how many kilowatts of power does it all consume every day. If they carried any genuine content they might realise that one of the biggest existential threats comes from man-made climate change. Disgusting!!!

MSN Comment section for News Articles

MSN Comment section for News Articles. If you do not comment on the topic the way MSN feels you should comment they will BLOCK AND BAN you. They lean way way far left, if you do not conform to their points of view, you are out of there. I am banned indefinitely with no recourse of action permitted, I was called names by the other commenter, this was allowed by MSN. I shared my thoughts on the news articles, not cursing or calling name and was constantly taking down for community guidelines, They only want far far left to comment no other opinion matters to them. Can a lawyer convince them otherwise? I would sue them if I think I can. Anyone have the answer to that? I could leave feed back to msn and Boy did I, Not so nice word there. It was after I was Banned indefinitely. That was not what I got Banned for this came after I was banned, Thank Connie G

Good ol MSN UK do it again

Good ol MSN UK do it again. Cancer Research state that cancers are rising rapidly in the younger generation. Although smoking has dropped dramatically over the past decades, they harp on about the effects of smoking relating to this headline. So smoking goes down dramatically and cancers in the younger generation rise dramatically and the debate is 'smoking'. Is it me? Incidentally, Cancer Research UK cannot be a charity as they alledgically pay their staff. I thought charity workers gave their time for free? Every day there is a headline regarding the perils of smoking. I think the public accept it now. Well after having it rammed down our throats daily for the past twenty years, I think enough is enough. Please MSN UK drop it as a subject or are you under pressure not to do so by an external source, e.g. The British Government. What happened to live and let live. There's a few queries above to be getting on with.

Fascist censorship of the news; Censors everything

The definition of fascism:
"A far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement, characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation or race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy."

That's exactly what MSN is, and does. It leans far right, with news articles mostly glorifying Republicans, while criminalizing Democrats and Liberals. It shows you biased articles, and when you try to type ANYTHING that the AI filtering comments deems as going against the ideals of the post, your comment won't get posted.
Even typing this simple post: 👏🏻👱🏻‍
Will give you an angry screaming message, stopping it from posting, saying your post doesn't "meet our guidelines" aka, "Your post doesn't meet our facist ideals."

1. That violates our freedom of speech, so MSN is actually attacking your amendment rights here. They can't make any policies that infringe on that.

2. It's a prime example of censorship of the news. You see and believe, but never question. What is this some kind of 1984 dystopian?

3. Most of their 'news' isn't even news. It's speculations.

This racist, sad clown website is a waste
Of. Time. They constantly deed the Republican agenda, they hate you, and don't care about what you think, they'll even show you articles that you literally can't comment on, if they think too many people are going to disagree, like the Hamas situation.

Biased! Don't go on this site, it's outdated in both it's ideals and infrastructure. Any article it shows you, don't believe, use Ublock to immediately hide it's news section, and completely forget this site exists, let it rot and decay. Find your news anywhere but here. If you can't trust this website's news, then you cant trust anything this company does.

Shame you can't give a zero or negative…

Shame you can't give a zero or negative score.

Almost impossible to post a comment, some 40% of the dictionary seems to be against their "community guidelines" and they never point out what the "offense" is.

When a comment DOES get through, which could be a 6 word sentence stating a neutral fact, it gets deleted by some fragile snowflake anyway, because it might possible go against the woke narrative. Such examples being "Journalism standards are poor these days" and "Cars can be used as a weapon" get you put in the MSN gulag.
