Delays after Delays
I purchased a new build apartment at Albion Yard in Redhill from Mulberry Homes in November 2024. At the time of purchase, I was told completion would be February 2025.
It is now almost February 2026 and I am still not living in the property.
Since exchange, completion dates have been repeatedly missed and communication has been extremely poor. Updates are vague, timelines constantly move, and I have often had to chase for basic information. Senior members of the business have been copied into emails and have either ignored them or failed to provide any meaningful response.
The latest delays relate to the installation and energisation of the electricity substation, something that clearly should have been planned well in advance. Despite this being the sole blocker, there has been no clear ownership or accountability, and no realistic or reliable completion date provided.
Living in limbo for over a year has had a real financial and personal impact. I have had to delay life plans, remain in alternative accommodation, and deal with ongoing uncertainty, all while having no confidence in what I am being told.
Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering buying from Mulberry Homes, particularly at Albion Yard. The lack of transparency, missed commitments, and poor communication have made this an incredibly frustrating process.
