The most honest shop in Europe !
I was looking for a certain Fender guitar. Unfortunately no major shop had it in stock, even Fender doesn't have it anymore and it is not certain wether and when they will produce it again. So I literally manually searched every shop in Europe untill I came onto this (small) German shop who still had one in stock. At first I was reluctant to order it because they ask to put the money in their account and not standardly accept creditcards. But I had very good email communication with the owner Holger even on the weekend when the shop was closed. So I decided to risk it and ordered the guitar and wired the money. After two days I was informered about the succesful payment and that they would ship the guitar with the remark that it would first undergo a very thoroughly inspection. A day later I got some bad news. There was something wrong with the guitar and after contacting Fender for advice the guitar was shipped to Fender on their resquest for further inspection. They could have sent the guitar to me hoping I wouldn't notice the problem or defect, but in Holger's own words "that is not our style". He would reimburse me and today the money was back in my account. He promised to keep me updated on the guitar's progress and I would keep first choice to buy it again when it returned from Fender providing it is fixed as a brand new guitar should be. So even if I haven't got my dream guitar this was still a very positive experience. This kind of service and honesty is an example for every other shop in Europe, even if they sell other things than musical instruments. Thank you Holger for your honesty and wonderful service !
