Great price and great service for over a year
We've been using MyDivert for over a year to provide "local" numbers for our worldwide ecommerce business. The quality has been excellent, we've had no issues with support, and the price is very reasonable.
So far we're happily using UK, Canadian, and Australian DIDs, and we're looking to expand as our business expands. It's great!
This company is a joke
In 2011 I took an Ireland DID number from them which has worked seamlessly for over 2 years until June this year when I started to get feedback from customers to tell me that our Ireland number was in fact being answered by another company.
I posted a ticket, where after numerous days, I was informed that the number in Ireland should be used from a registered Ireland address. The number WITHOUT ANY WARNING was pulled and given to another company and responses from their ticket system averages 7-14 days.
They speak to me as if I was scamming them of numbers and have snatched the number from us. This policy of only allowing numbers that have an Ireland registered address is new and was not an issue when I signed up where they actively promoted the number for a business outside Ireland.
I am now seeking a loss of earnings claims as I should have been given notice, they have also take 20 Euros from me and paid that against the taken number and as yet, no mention of a refund for the months rental, nor the refund of the balance in the account.
I am now seeking an alternative Ireland DDI number and be warned.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE JOKERS!!!
They treat you with contempt and do not understand removing numbers without warning can affect businesses!!!
The 72h period has passed, my account hasn't been activated
They did refund my money at least, but it looks like I will need to start looking for another voip company.
These were the most wasted 72h of my entire life.
100% Happy with the service.
I was looking for a VOIP provider in Ireland and heard about these guys. I contacted them and within a few days the land-line number that I had for 10 years was switched over to their service.
Its been there since and I am delighted with the service. Any minor support questions have been answered fast and resolved my questions immediately.

This is absolutely a SCAM company that steal your private info and use your documents like passports... for illegal usage so be aware of mydivert.com they cheated me like that!

could not even register there :)
MyDivert.com are very funny guys: they charge you upfront for 20 euros, then ask you to provide ID info (e.g. a bill with an address and a photo ID) _before_ you got a chance to try their service out. I read a couple of good reviews on their services, so I decided to sign up, paid 20 euros via PayPal, and sent the required documentation. In about 15 hours from that moment I got a refund with no explanation whatsoever and my account was deleted.
Well, I can't say that they are bad, but I wonder how they could do business if they do not communicate properly? There are a lot of companies providing the same services, so I guess these guys just lost me as their client and I expected to spend hundreds of $$ there.

Excellent call control and fantastic support
I was looking for a DID service so I could get rid of my Telstra phone line at home (in Brisbane, Australia) and came across MyDivert.com using google.
After reading the negative review and response from MyDivert.com I wasn't sure if I should give them a go but in the end I did as the prices for a DID was attractive at only Euro4.50 for an Aussie number.
Gettintg an Aussie DID requires proof of ID and address etc so a support ticket is raised with MyDivert.com and OH MY GOD talk about responsive. All of my emails were responded to within 15mins and the DID service was connected and working within an hour.
I am incredibly delighted as not only has their service been much improved from the previous negtive review but my new DID works perfectly and the user management portal is great with the interface well designed making it incredibly easily to get things working and seeing how much I spent etc. (I have a DreyTek 2910V VOIP Broadband Router).
I especially like how everthing is consolidated on the main portal page i.e. your account balance, your call log, your settings and your DID numbers. After using a couple of other UK providers, before moving to Australia two years ago, who had complex convoluted interfaces MyDivert.com is a nice surprise as you don't see this side of things until you have subscribed.
If I had one request from MyDivert.com it would be the option of being able to buy multiple lines so you can do call waiting, call transfer etc. and even calling between extensions something like a mini-PBX service as I used to run my own Asterisk server but now can't bear the thought of it and want to get everything from my service provider even if I have to pay a little more for the extras.
It would be also nice if you could buy unlimited local calling packages for a fixed monthly price in certain combinations i.e. EU, Aust/NZ, USA. Thaqt way I'd know for sure what my monthly commitment to calls would be.
