DPD is by far the WORST delivery service I have ever dealt with. Every single time I have a package coming through them, there is some kind of issue—delays, lost parcels, or fake "attempted delivery" notifications when I was home the whole time! Their drivers clearly don't care, and customer service is just as useless, providing generic responses and absolutely no real help.

My latest experience? They claimed to have delivered my package, but there was NO SIGN of it anywhere. No photo proof, no neighbor received it, and of course, their tracking is a joke. After multiple calls and emails, all I got was "We are investigating"—which means "We have no idea where your package is, and we don’t care."

Avoid DPD at all costs unless you enjoy frustration, wasted time, and lost parcels. If I had a choice, I would NEVER use them again! 🚫📦

Packages were returned to the sender without reaching the recipient.

The worst ever! I can’t believe why Germany still allow this courier to run in business. Imagined for two days, i have waited for the package. On the second day even waited outside for it, and i was shocked it was already marked as delivered even it was not. Called their hotline and instructed me to call the sender. I asked him if he could simply call the delivery man because for sure the sender has given the package. It was just DHL Boxes. It appeared on their tracker. Tsk.

They didn't deliver the package and lied about delivering it to a parcel shop.
I ordered again to their pickup station this time they returned the package to sender because they couldn't find their own pickup station which they suggested me to use for a quick and easy delivery.

Without attempt to deliver to packetshop where i redirected order they returned 3 of 4 boxes to seller from China and 1 delivered to my old adress. i was waiting 2 months for order and now nobody know where is 3 of 4 my boxes. On email 4 times i received the same answer. At the moment is one month after they automatically redirected my order to seller and nobody know where is are my very expensive wheels...

I was forced with DPD with some orders I have made. It is the worst company by far. A few weeks ago I orderdd some new tires for my car from Michelin, the delivery was pending. I came back from work and the tires were on the street. Parcel was not delivered yet on the system. This time I ordered a cst tree from OTTO and the delivery was made under my name but I am out of town for work. The parcel is nowhere to be found. The most unreliable, unprofessional delivery service I have ever seen.

DPD marked my parcel as delivered, but I never received it. And they could not offer the proof of delivery, because I never signed it! Customer service has been unresponsive and unhelpful. I need urgent assistance to locate my package. Extremely disappointed.

Initially had seen the delivery employee just leaving the packet outside the door of apartment building even without using the ring bell or any notification. This time it was absolute chaos from the DPD service. I received the notification that I will receive my packet at a specific time and even the delivery vehicle never passed by and shortly later received a notification that it was not delivered as they couldnt find the receiver. Finally received a notification that the packet is delivered at the neighbor and the neighbor being 1.5 hours from my home. Absolute disaster. I hope I never use this service and i wish if this service never existed!!!!!

The worst company imaginable – they have no competition when it comes to unprofessionalism. I placed an order on December 1st, expecting to receive it by the 5th at the latest. Unfortunately, not only did I not receive my parcel, but I also didn’t get my money back. The order was worth €500, and for over two weeks, their tracking system has stated that the package is being returned to the sender.

Additionally, I’d like to point out that I work from home, and at no point was there any delivery attempt made. Absolutely disappointing service

Worst experience with DPD. No replies/solutions to emails/complaints, customer service not trained to help callers. Dodging emails to different teams and no one knows what to do.I wasted weeks trying to ship goods and also wasted 62€!
Completely irresponsible courier service ever!

I will avoid every company that works with dpd.

They basically are ascribable to a criminal organization more than a carrier. They take your money and steal your package posting fake delivery notifications and of course the custumer service does not answer to any email. Better resign immediately your shipping/purchase contract when you see they are the "delivery service" or you are gonna lose your money.

DPD is so bad that it’s unbelievable. There is always issues with deliveries. I work from home, but I have never... ever... EVER received a delivery at my door. I always have to pick it up from a store, or in this case, it was delivered to a neighbor who isn't even on the same floor, and I can’t get it from them. JUST ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I WISH DPD DIDN'T EXIST.

Very bad ive been waiting since morning and its now 8 pm and package still hasnt come. The stops keep going back and forth, for example it was 6 stops and then somehow became 12. Dont recommend this delivery ☠️

I never received the package because the delivery guy left it on my front door without my consent. Be careful when purchasing goods online and select DPD as a delivery method. They do not even ring the bell, leave the package there unattended, and do not care that it is lost or stolen- they just mark it delivered and take no responsibility.
The seller tried to contact them, but they always insist the order has been delivered, even though I did not chose to leave the package on the front door.

Worst experience ever. I thought DPD was a reliable company and that’s why I decided to go with this carrier, but never again.
I live in France and I bought an item on Vinted from a German seller. She dropped off my parcel on November 20th at a parcel shop in Hamburg, and my parcel hasn’t moved since then. Today is December 4th! It is supposed to take maximum one week to get to France but it’s actually been 2 weeks now, and my parcel is still patiently waiting at the parcel shop for a DPD driver to come pick it up.
The sender and I have both written several complaints by email, but we still haven’t received any answer. DPD is keeping us waiting in the dark.
The sender also tried to call them many times and they either don’t pick up the phone, or they claim that the parcel is on its way (which is a lie since tracking says it has not moved).
I had other carrier options but decided to trust DPD as I really thought it was the most reliable company (and it was the most expensive option compared to the other ones available!) but I was so wrong.
I believe my parcel is either lost or probably stolen, which is absolutely unacceptable coming from a company that is supposed to be one of the most reliable ones.
NEVER AGAIN!

Worst delivery service ever. When I see that an eshop uses DPD to deliver parcels, I usually don't order from them. After a very long time I did an order from eshop using DPD and what happened? I waited at home for the parcel to arrive, nobody rang, then I just got an email saying they did not reach me. Really horrible, no idea why they are still in business, their service cannot be worse.

This is the most useless and unreliable delivery service company in Germany...very unprofessional and very very frustrating to say the least... My package was dropped off at a packet shop without even making an attempt to deliver to my house.... after tracking the delivery for hours , only for me to get an email to go pick up at a packet shop..which is far from my house....I had the most stressful and frustrating 2 days of my life because of their unprofessionalism... NEVER AGAIN....I have to always specify that I don't want DPD before ordering anything online henceforth... mtchweeeew

I must express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I have received. This has been, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had. Unfortunately, this is not the first time, which suggests that such poor service has become the norm.
