Sometimes it's helpful but 70% of the time it is completely pointless. No help whatsoever.

The website is a pain to log into and offers very little support for people that are behind. Does not even explain what you need to do and is very time consuming for the work that you actually get done. I wish schools would just stick to pen and paper maths or send us decent resources to print out such as Twinkl. The teachers cannot see what we did wrong and a bunch of red crosses does not really help a teacher, as you could've gotten the principal right but you made a small mistake, therefore the teachers think you are dumb! It puts unneeded pressure on us for something that would usually be easy, and it doesn't even give us any working out space so you will need to use a pen and paper anyway! Don't usually say this, but think schools should stick to doing things the old way, plus, if the schools do insist on having an online maths hub, there are some way better subscriptions out there for the price! Overall, I really think you should avoid it, which is why I usually ignore homework that is set for me on there! I hope mymaths.co.uk uses this feedback to make it better because it is a really good money making idea, just executed terribly.

This website was terrible. Absolutley pointless and so easy to cheat on.

One of my son's tasks was marked as incorrect when it was clearly correct. I tried to find a way to report the discrepancy back to them, but it's just not an option - they don't expect any feedback from either student or parent. That means that they don't have a chance to correct it.
Too bad.

my maths doesn't give you the full question ruining my maths at school making me look much more dumber than i actually am. for any schools thinking of using this DO NOT it completely ruins children's life's like mine and my friends and classmates

Where should I start, I try to do my homework and checked all my answers with my calculator and they were all wrong so i tried again and it gave me the exact same set and so i put the answers it said before and they were wrong too DO NOT RECCOMEND it is just plain crap.

My maths sucks beacuse I did the home work and got it all right but it didn't save and loaded up a completely new set of homework. I got most of it wrong. I hate my maths and do not advise people to use it

I hate mymaths it stresses me and it is very difficult for an eight year old to handle mymaths. DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. 👎

well, mymaths...it is horrifically outdated, offers no help, videos make no sense, tries to apply pressure to you making you stressed, marks correct answers incorrect... do not recommend.

is there anything right abt this website ? nooooo its outdated and makes more errors than a 2 year old kid doing multiplication

My maths is quite honestly the most soul-destroying home learning website i have had to use, it is horribly outdated and for the work which teachers set, takes a long time without feeling like your getting much done, teachers set 4 my maths lessons and HW, thinking its not much, and sometimes its not, but sometimes there is way to many multistep questions, and for the time you put into it it feels like you get hardly anything done, its boring repetitive and just annoying. very little reward for doing it. Especially in Lock down in 202 this is just a waste of time compared to what you could learn on other websites.

It's so terrible! I use it everyday because my school sets me them. I HATE IT SOOOOO MUCH. Also I don't get it. you know why it uses such a different way of teaching that I don't understand anything and I get a 0% on my homework! Allright so fix it mymaths or we angry users will exterminate u!!!!!!

Fir some questions tou cant even answer as it doesn't let you put in a decimal point. Some questions it does not even get the answer correct

When you try to save up a piece of Homeowork it just disappears

I am a mathematics teacher (11 to 18) and have found MyMaths to be a very useful platform, particularly during lockdown. The tasks usually fit the UK curricula well and leaving feedback for pupils is easy.

A pupil of mine spotted an error in one of the answers so I emailed the administrators. Angela (Secondary MyMaths Publisher) responded quickly and had the problem resolved, which was excellent. Angela also provided some detailed suggestions regarding an unrelated problem another pupil of mine was having. This is really commendable service.

Overall, MyMaths is one of several excellent platforms in the modern mathematics teacher's toolkit.
