I ordered the RangeXTD (WiFi Extender) US&CA Version on March 16, 2024. Order Number: 2421004951. By July 8, 2024, I still had not received my item so I contacted myrangextd.com and canceled my order and asked them to refund the $63.94 I had paid. As of today, November 17, 2024, I still have not received my refund. They are a scam.

Within an hour of placing an order, I read the REAL reviews about this company, and have tried to cancel my order. I kept getting generated responses. No phone. The next thing I know I'm getting "your order is about to ship". I noticed at the bottom of the page it came from Hong Kong. Now I just received another email from the "company" to purchase their warranty from The Netherlands. Bottom line, this company has fake reviews on the internet. No customer service. I plan to notify every agency I can, until this company is removed from the internet.

Cheap rip off scam - total waste of money!

This company appears to operate a number of bogus 'Review' websites which are just fronts pushing their product. Type 'RangeXTD Scam' into your browser and see what pops up!
I fell for it and ordered one. Took ages to arrive from Hong Kong. Looks well-built, attractively packaged. Plugged it in, lots of flashing lights, wouldn't connect with my router. Tried it right next to the router, even connected it via an ethernet cable, nothing worked.
Junk.

Up there with the most complex and difficult retail experiences I know of.

I ordered 4 wifi range extenders which duly arrived. Except they had European fittings and couldn't be used in the UK. I emailed RangeXTD and they said more units would be despatched. Weeks went by and eventually I had to call them to ask where these units were, enduring a serious bout of being on hold. Curiously they said no replacements had been sent but they could offer a discount on what I already had – the units I couldn't use. I was put on hold so many times that eventually I said I wanted to return the incorrect items but I was told I’d have to send them back to the Netherlands and pay the returns costs myself, even though the order was actually wrong. So I reluctantly asked them to send the replacements which they initially refused to do – despite my having emails saying they would send out new units straightaway - but then agreed. 2 weeks later just TWO replacement units arrived, with a flimsy adapter to make them useable in this country. I emailed them asking where the other 2 units were and got a response to an email I’d send over a month ago regarding my initial order. So I rang again – lots of on hold of course - and decided to return everything and accept the cost as they refused to pay for any returns. Even after doing this I had to chase them for my refund – inevitably being on endless hold once more - which I did eventually get. I managed to claim the returns costs by claiming through PayPal so despite having endless phone calls and emails regarding what I thought was a simple order I am actually not out of pocket, a little surprising to say the least.

Something of a nightmare from start to finish and not a company I would recommend.
