Just not good quality in general, they look incredibly impressive at the beginning but the finishes/varnishes used for sealing isn't good enough. The glow powder that they also use in their resin is horrific quality that turns an awful colour when it ages. Over time the amount of sweat, grease and oils from your hands ends up destroying the ring and wood quality. They market them as if they're going to look perfect constantly, but they're ridiculously overpriced for what they're selling and for how delicate the rings are. I don't know what kind of varnish or coat that they use to seal the wood, but it's not good at all.

They are nice when you first get them ,but over time they start to turn cloudy and yellowish tint,
My wife does not where them often and keeps stored in original boxes
And when contacted them ,there reply was as if they didn't read my question and gave a generic response
So just be prepared for your pice not to look as it did a year after you first receive them

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY! This company is a total joke, verified or not! I was ok with the fact that it took over a month to receive the rings I purchased from My Secret Woods, but they are total s*^t in quality & appearance, absolutely nothing like what is pictured at their website! Very cheap quality for sure! BUYER BEWARE!

I was here in the hope that leaving a review might get someone from Secret Wood to get back to me after emailing numerous times and contacting on social media about my necklace that broke after 3 wears. It was a special and sentimental necklace bought for our engagement and to have spent over £150 on this is so disappointing. Have had no response from Secret Woods regarding this. AVOID

I ordered from a different continent basically so I understand why it took that long to arrive (was almost certain i was scammed).

The biggest problem was the quality of the personalized/chosen piece that attaches to the turtle. It looks plastic. Like a doll’s accessory. Absolutely not worth the money.

In my case it was a gift so I hope my friend forgives me. Bye.

I ordered from mysecretwood in 2019 and they stole my money and never sent anything

Deceptive sales practices, low quality resin, nearly non existent customer service. I had to file a chargeback to get a refund over a month after my order should have shipped. No communication about the delay. There's plenty of better and more reasonable artists on Etsy

I ordered from Secret Wood in mid-October and I still haven't received my order yet. They advertised that the sale was ending that day so I ordered quickly and then I checked the next day and the sale was extended for a few days. Then, customer service didn't respond to my first email and only answered a follow-up email weeks later when I was concerned that my product didn't arrive yet (two pendants). The responses were fast after that but without really caring about how long I've been waiting or apologizing for not answering my previous email. Overall, I'm disappointed and I hope that I receive everything soon as the pendants themselves look quite cute. I won't order again but I'm looking forward to wearing my turtle pendants anyway.

Ordered my 2 rings on 9 th of June and still no response from company, products should be made in 3 weeks . Its 25th of July and I still didn't git even confirmation email that order was send. Very very disappointed. I paid over 100$ and i starting to have feeling its a scam.🥺

The rings came quicker than expected and fit really nicely. At first it didn't glow very much but I figured out If you use a UV light torch it charges it up so much quicker. The glow isn't as bright as I wanted it to be but it's still good nonetheless. Definitely a good buy.

All these reviews are fake. I ordered a ring to Australia and took roughly three weeks. The ring I received was exactly as advertised and great quality. The customer service team is amazing and when I had any issues I contacted them and they fixed it instantly. So I don’t know what y’all are on about

Feels like a scam.

My fiancé has been following Secret Wood on Instagram for well over a year now and has shown me lots of their rings, so when Valentine’s Day rolled around this year I thought it would be sweet to buy one of the Glo rings in her favorite colors, pink and blue. I noticed right away that the website constantly had a 50% off sale with a timer that never seemed to run out but always had a day or two on it (I checked, they still have the sale and I ordered beginning of February). Maybe they’re just constantly having sales, but it seems a bit odd.
I knew when I ordered it that the shipping would be a while, it’s COVID and the ring is supposed to be handmade. The shipping didn’t take forever, but it wasn’t fast either - which wouldn’t have been an issue if I would have received a good product, but alas what I received was not that. When the ring finally arrived, it arrived in a cardboard envelope. There was no packing, no padding and no protection. When I opened said envelope expecting a damaged ring box, I instead got a black plastic baggie reminiscent of what you would receive from a medical marijuana dispensary. Not even a ring box for the $70 I paid and that was supposed to be half price. So I’m supposed to believe that the ring is really worth that much, apparently. The ring itself is honestly ugly. It’s supposed to glow pink and blue and instead it glows a dull green like the 20 year old glow-in-the-dark stars you stuck on your childhood ceiling. There is no blue or pink glow to it, just green. It feels like children’s jewelry and to top it all off my fiancé can’t even wear it because it doesn’t fit. I ordered a size 8 and when compared to a size 6.5 ring from a legitimate jewelers, they were almost identical.
I had to apologize to my fiancé for gifting this to her.

12 weeks since i ordered, no item, no refund, no response. Terrible service

I ordered 5 rings and were not happy with 3 of them bc the items did not look as described. I have contacted them on ig and emails (my bf contscted them 2 weeks ago and no reply) and they only replied on ig. They said they sent me an email, so when i went to check, they JUST sent the email. Then i replied via email but they stoppd replying that day so i messaged the day after on ig about it. I told them i suspect their email system probably has problems bc they arent replying back consistently bit the instsgram rep told me that the agent will reply to me in a couple hours. It has been 10 hours. Seriously regret not reading the reviews in the first place.

Ordered a ring and it was too large. I sent back to the company and payed an additional 10$ for it to be resized. A month later it cames back and it was THE SAME SIZE AS BEFORE. It was completely absurd. I try to email the company asking them why but they're ghosting me. One of the most baffling customer experiences I've ever had.

UPDATE:

4 days after leaving this review I suddenly received an email from Mysecretwood saying that a shipment was on its way. Hours later it says it was delivered and when I got it, it was the ring in its proper size. Now I'm even more confused, but since they solved the problem and the ring itself is really nice, I can't really keep the bad review.

Even so, I think my situation is an exception to the rule. Take heed when buying from this place, but I really do like this ring. (I also still have the too-large ring in my possession, and now I need to figure out what to do with it.)

Love this ring!! Very classy but still fun came very quickly faster than expected and just had to expose it for a few minutes to light to get it to start! Ordered mine on sale.

First off, they say they are in Canada but my rings are shipping from Washington State, I paid for 3 day shipping, in 4 days I still didn't get a tracking number so they tell me it takes 3-4 weeks to make the one of a kind rings. They refund 20. Of my 30 dollars shipping and the same day I get a tracking number, how if it takes 3-4 weeks to hand make them? I'm not even going to open the package, just send them back. 120. For 2 rings that I can get for less than 30 at other stores! Hand made my but! Do your research people, my husband says they are pulling off a scam, ordering the cheaper ring, repacking them and charging 10x more as hand made rings.

I thought the same as all you guys that this thing doesnt glow as bright as they show but it does

They advertised it saying it will glow bright after justgoing about your day and it doesnt do that which was a let down yes but there is a way to make it glow as shown

I turned the light off and held a flashlight very very very very close to it I did that for 5 minutes and after that it glowed bright for the entire day

It's not as advertised but it takes very little to make it work

my ring is absolutely sick and it shipped quickly. customer service is also a 10, they're on top of everything. i'd buy another ring from them asap no rocky. idk why all these negative reviews are here lol y'all must be buying from a different source or something

Do not ever buy from here!!! On november 2018 (yeah, 2018!!!) my boyfriend ordered a necklace to give me for Christmas. They never told us anything, so after a couple of months I started writing them and only then they told us they were having problems with the silver supplier. We were patient and said that we would wait, hoping to get the item as soon as possibile. We waited for ONE YEAR, and in the end we decided to get the refund because we lost hope. Well, It’s 2020 now and we stil didn’t get our money back. I’m so upset, do you have any suggestions about how getting my damn refund???
