Awful company I excepted a mystery diner invitation and said I would do it the following weekend. I had 2 demands for a review in 2 consecutive days to which I replied reiterating I would do it tha... See more

I've done a nice range of visits from chain restaurants to hotel and spa visits, and the report writing is a little clunky and lengthy, but for what you can get, it's well worth the time spent.
Don't waste your time and money
Don't waste your time and money, this company deserves to have NO diners and no business.
You can follow their instructions and answer all questions but not be paid for doing their work.
Shabby
Over complicated procedure
Over complicated procedure. Takes ages to fill in a review after and some of the targets to adhere to are lengthy so you will have trouble remembering them exactly unless you have them written out on a tick list which defeats the point of trying to be subtle.
The restaurants are pretty low class too so unless you are prepared to eat food from grubby chains don’t bother.
I was refused my payback and report as I only bought three drinks instead of four. My partner also felt rough after visiting the last place.
When it's good it's good...
Unfortunately you will only have a good experience if you don't require any support.
Great if you don't experience any issues whatsoever but as soon as there is a problem they are very "computer says no".
In a cost of living crisis they could do with updating their systems to be more supportive of their diners such as reminders.
Poor, rude service
Unfortunately their customer service is terrible for their diners. They will not believe you if the retailer says something happened when it quite clearly didn't. When they speak to you they are rude and abrupt. I no longer dine with them and use other companies without any issues.
Mysterydining by HGEM has Terrible service and support.
I have done visits for this company for over 5 years and their service has always been below average. The customer service is not friendly and some are even outrightly rude. I've had several issues where I needed to reschedule visits because of emergencies and the staff have always been the most unempathetic I've come across. I'm never dining with this company again and think its a ironic that their objective is to help other service companies improve the quality of their service.
