It may be better is they used a faster return service to remedy this issue even if it incurred a slightly higher charge for overseas returns. Nae were very apologetic but the delays are still the longest I have experienced. The boots themselves were of very high quality, but unisex sizing in shoes is still geared towards the make foot size. - Original Feedback: Reiko size 40 were returned on the same day they arrived due to the unisex sizing being too big for a female foot. The boots were fine,, just not an actual size 40. I read reviews too late re sizing and withholding of customer funds. Five weeks and seven emails later there is radio silence re the return so I have had to get my bank to intervene due to potential fraud. Do not order from the UK. The store has gone over the 30days maximum they are allowed by EU law to make a refund.

They were true to their values, trough all process, even when problems arose, the costumer suport was fantastic, a person, Neuza, delicate, nice and very kind, instead of robot.
Really helpful and cared about their costumers, instead of just another sell.
When you hope for something amazing…
I’ve been following or drooling over NAE shoes for about 10 years. During that time, I have also been on the hunt for a vegan Mary Jane heel that isn’t clunky. I was so excited when NAE released a pair for fall 2025. The first time I was going to buy them was in October 2025 but my size was sold out. When I saw that my size was back in stock at the end of December 2025 and on sale I snagged a pair. The website says 2-3 business days from NAE shipping the product to the US. With the US’s unfortunate tariff's, I figured 7-9 business days which has been my experience with other companies. The product shipped two days later and I was thrilled. It is now 10 days since the product shipped and the last scan was that the product cleared customs (the tracking is so inadequate and just says cleared customs but not where) and that was Jan 6 or 6 days from this review. On Jan 8, I contacted NAE and didn’t hear from them until today. After some half hearted apologies, NAE went into how it isn’t their problem and tariff’s are the cause and really while their website says delivery in 2-3 business days, it’s really much longer than that. They did agree that it’s weird that there has been no scan since Jan 6 and would look into it, however, based on this delay and experience, I’m not holding my breathe for a response or the shoes.

I haven't receive my exchange and haven't heard back after almost 2 months.
I ordered the MARCA shoes on 13 Nov 2025 and received on 26 Nov 2025. The model didn't match my expectations, so I requested an exchange for the APRIL model.
I received the return label on 3 Dec 2025 and send the MARCA model back the day after. The last shipping update was on 8 Dec 2025 when the return arrived to Jönköping, Sweden.
Since I didn't receive any other update I sent NAE an email on 1 Jan 2026. I wrote that I was understanding of the businesses of December but I wished to hear an update of my order.
I didn't hear anything back so I wrote again on 8 Jan 2026 now requesting my money back, after having tried to reach their website, which now it states "Access Restricted. This website is not available in your region".
This feels like an utter scam. I am so disappointing coming from a company selling vegan shoes, claiming to have ethical values.

More than 1 month delay, but worth it

I am editing this review after receiving the boots. They are actually really great! Super comfy and real good looking! They seem well made. So I'm very happy to have them after all. (Diram combat vegan boots with chunky sole).

I ordered some boots more than 1 month ago and I still haven't received them. They apparently had some issues with a factory. I'm annoyed that for weeks I was the one texting them to ask where my shoes are, and even though they answered nicely, they never initiated once to inform me first that the shoes are even more delayed, I feel I would have never known if I didn't text them every week. Then they finally supposedly sent a package, and gave me the wrong postal number. It was again me who had to spent from my time to ask them what's going on. Additionally meanwhile they sent me some other sneakers that I ordered, which already unglued on the sides.
Now it's snowing and even though I've order winter boots more than a month ago, I have no shoes to go out on the snow with. I have never been offered any compensation for all the discomfort and time spent either.

The shoes I bought had a small defect and the client service was very helpful in fixing things for me.
The store where I bought the shoes (in Lisboa) was a pleasant one and the lady that sold me the shoes was very kind and helpful.

Poor quality, very expensive
The shoes are not great quality for the price so be warned.
Paid €100 for the Dara Pink lace-ups, and wore them about 10 times (in a 2.5 year period). The shoes cracked in multiple places. And I wore them only to the office. No long walks, no tough terrain.
The pre-loved program also expects you to pay the return shipping. So basically of the €25 voucher, I'd get nothing. I am quite disappointed and have contacted customer service, who were sweet but unhelpful. This is not great service for people who want to support small businesses.

Hebea Sandals
I ordered a pair of sandals (via Immaculate Vegan) and the shipping was quick. Unfortunately they were the wrong size so I had to return them and the return process went fine.
My second purchase was a pair of black Hebea sandals. The fit is great BUT the straps in the middle of the foot are waaaay to long so I had to take the shoes to a shoe cobbler to fix it. This involved removing the sole + heel, ripping out the middle straps, shortening them, and then glueing everything back together.
I'm not sure how the length of these straps wasn't caught earlier in the manufacturing process. You really can't wear the sandals without shortening the straps, it looks comical.
Otherwise the sandals are very cute and look high-quality.

Simply rejected return
Could not return the shoes because they had dust on them. The shoes' surface naturally collect dust and I even received them with dust, and acknowledged that that's the nature of the material.
But once I tried to return them because they caused pain on my heels, the customer service objected.
Further, for a size guide they refer you to different parts of their website, but nothing is there. There is no size chart.

I bought the bottle orange trainers…
I bought the bottle orange trainers some time ago but haven’t worn them except for a couple of occasions. When I went to wear them recently the label on the heel was disintegrating! NAE said some of their materials do this, even though the trainers have been kept in their original box. Very poor. I’d bought them through Avesu so was told to speak to them but there was no assurance that NAE would work with Avesu to resolve the issue. Buy at your peril.
Neuza was the best!
I purchased the Dara sneakers, and they're great -- very cute and versatile. And Neuza gave me perfect guidance on the sizing. Her customer service was terrific.
