Do not buy from them for any reason

Wow. Actually the worst customer service and site operation ever. These people are scum when it comes to actually trying to work with their customers. They shipped my package to the wrong address, I messaged them immediatly to get it resolved and they sent to get the package picked up. Two weeks late they haven't told me what happened but that they have the package in hand and needed to confirm my address. I did immediately and we sent back and forth 5 more days before I asked for a refund because they were just holding the package hostage. They denied it even though they had my package, confirmed my address, and yet they still held on to it for almost an entire week. I had to put in a claim with PayPal to try and get my money back and surprise surprise as soon as I do the next day it shipped. Scum, so not spend a dollar on these folks ever they are slimy and do not give a damn about their customers.

Absolutely terrible

It is insane how terrible and frustrating Bandai Namco’s website is any they refuse to fix it. For months I have tried to go online and get items on presell before everyone rushes and gets everything and every single time I run into an issue. Issue with sign in, the website crashing, pages stop loading you name it. It sucks because the bots end up buying all the products and reselling for insane prices and Bandai does nothing about it.

The online store is a clunky error-filled mess.

I recently tried to purchase the ER collector’s edition during their sale and when trying to complete my purchase, I was prompted to complete a card verification prompt. Upon doing so and putting in the proper information it inevitably failed, because it’s Bandai. I tried one more time in the off chance that my browser had timed out or something and it failed as well. It’s not the first time I’ve missed out on something due to technical issues with their website. I tried to give it the night and try again in the morning and by then it had completely sold out. Why can’t they implement PayPal or some other prevalent online transaction service? Save yourself the time and don’t try to reach support. It’s purposefully set up to be as frustrating as possible until you inevitably give up.

Worst customer service I’ve seen

I first placed an order during Bandai Namco’s recent online store sale and received it within a week, everything was perfect. Then I decided to place another order for a different item I was wanting and it was delivered with one item missing, as well as the one that was delivered being damaged. I’m tech savvy and it was still very difficult to figure out how to contact any type of customer service, seemingly purposefully so. Then once I did get in contact, its now been a month and they still haven’t sent out the missing out item and tell me they’ll send a replacement for the damaged item once I ship this one back and they receive it…

They have a decent game I like to play…

They have a decent game I like to play DragonBall Xenoverse 2. The game's main selling points are CAC's which is a great idea in the dragon ball world and online play

Here's where it gets tricky. PVE including the story mode is extremely underdeveloped understandable due to the games 2 main selling points. However the choose to make 75% of the pve DLC which is yet another example of the corporate greed that is ruining corporations by them putting revenue over "quality of product" which anyone with a simple business degree would understand how that is a bad idea

Which brings me to the selling points online PVP and CACS

The CAC's and the respective advantages of each make little to no sense compared to the actual show. For example due to certain combo's a M/F earthling are normally the strongest CAC's available. In the show krillin is a male earthling. Bulma is a female earthling. So how does that make logical sense. It makes even less sense that Earthlings can attain any transformation a saiyan can. Which also never happened on the show.

I rarely see majins on PVP so I can't comment if they are broken they most likely are. I do see namekians who regen health. They do have broken abilities like being able to turn giant and having long reaching arms but atleast that is lore accurate. The frieza race characters are also lore accurate so I don't honestly mind. But due to the strength of earthlings (again which doesn't make any logical sense) I rarely even see those CAC's

As a matter of fact in PVP again the main selling point. I RARELY fight cacs at all

Why?

This stupid company allows in a pvp game again with the main selling point being C A C s not only allows pvp players to choose any of the characters they can only unlock through DLC (pay to win) but is stupid enough to buff those characters compared to CAC's making using your CAC useless unless you want to play the under developed PVE

As if that is not enough of a stupid business model. The game even on console is over run with cheaters and I honestly wish I was exaggerating.

I've messaged some of these cheaters they are not only aware they do it they don't care and I honestly don't blame them because once again what should've been a fantastic idea of a game in the dragon ball world is actually a poorly developed cash grab where the parts that are blatantly a cash grab are only slightly better than the rest of the game most of which is garbage

The hilarious thing about the cheaters and the company that blatantly enables the cheaters is that the actual show dragon ball the point is the characters we all love would rather train and improve than use the dragon balls to cheat they're way to strength so I question what game I'm actually playing on a regular basis. This feels like a intense version of Mario kart or super smash bros not a dragon ball game lol

How are their cheaters?

Even on console we have what's called a qq bang (again which in a dragon ball game if the developers actually watched the show shouldn't exist) which gives CAC's certain stat boosts. Now this isn't that bad. However the cheaters I'm referring too regularly without hiding it play and run around with 5 5 5 5 5 5 qq bangs

Now here's how for example my qq bang works. I don't like ki blasts and most qq bangs have atleast one negative stat to attempt to make it look like the developers care about strategy. So my qq bang has -1 to ki blast because I don't use them anyway. So everyone knows I'm not making this up my qq bang is 5 5 5 5 1 -1

After a extremely tedious process (ohh wait there's more) of getting qq bangs and messaging the cheaters who I didn't know were cheaters at the time. I realized it is impossible without modding the game to get a perfect qq bang

And I only play on console....

As a reference I like Star Wars battlefront 2. They're community has mods but it only works on PC and they only mod the skins to characters people actually want not the Disney Star Wars characters.

How can xenoverse 2 players mod on console

Oh because the developers not only allow it they clearly encourage it and by the way there is no way to report these players either. So again the developers are clearly encouraging this and wonder why no one plays this game or atleast not online

The cheating doesn't stop there. Just like sparking 0. There are a number of abilities that again if these idiots watched the show either shouldn't be in the game at all or should have serious consequences for using which can you see the pattern? 0 consequences. Most of them are unblockable and un avoidable. And ruin any attempt at actually having fun for no other reason because again for a pay to win cash grab they encourage this.

They have also ruined transformations. SSG or SSBE is not stronger than UI why did they ruin it. Also no UE

This game is nothing more than a poorly done cash grab

Oh and if you leave a match you get a red name :)

Scammer seller working with Amazon

I really don’t understand how a company like Amazon is working with these scammers. I paid 96 UsD (including taxes) for “new” Elden Ring with expansion pack included.
But when it arrived it was clear that it was a used one. And redeem code for expansion pack was already used. Really what a joke Amazon! Please always be careful and check the seller on Amazon

Their website is junk. Kept trying to send emails to verify...super lagging. I ended up ordering 2 of what I wanted. Less than 12 hours later I asked if we could cancel 1 of them, and it was a no . OH we understand your frustration. Blah blah. 69.00 just to ship so times that by 2! I told them never again will I order anything from them! I've been collecting since the 90's and have never ever had this issue. Booooooo Bandai namco! Sad way to do business! Steer clear

Do not pre order anything they had 20…

Do not pre order anything they had 20 years to do sparking zero or what ever you want to call this crap shoot you failed you dropped the ball it's not worth the price of buying or playing I bought it thinking it was going to be the next level of gaming to an already great legacy Great story just like it's early predecessors I am genuinely sad to see how far the company has gone Downhill. I want them to do better and for the price of what they're asking. They should deliver more much tour and yet when I see this saying they wanna call a game. It just makes me think they're just like all. The other companies just looking for a quick turnover dollar. They're not in it for the people anymore. They're just in for the money. I hope in the future they learn from this. I genuinely hope they do. Do better.!!!

Not receiving what was promised

I placed a pre-order for a physical copy of Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO for PS5. Upon receipt, I discovered that the package did not include the advertised pre-order bonuses. After contacting the company via email to address this issue, they declined to provide a code, stating that they're not responsible for anything outside their own online store, even though they made the game!

How hard can it be to get a refund

When I placed an order it didn't go through the first time so I had to place it again. I noticed I also got charged for the failed order and contacted the support. I get a quick reply saying they will investigate it, a week later I hadn't heard anything and asked for an update. They said they are still investigating it. How hard can it be to refund a failed transaction or why isn't it automatically refunded? I need my money for other things and they're just holding it hostage for idk how long?

Customer service is very poor

Its been a week since i spoke to someone, in a chat window no less, about having an order recharged as it hadn't gone through. At this time the order is still awaiting payment because they said it would take a few days. Since then, the order is still awaiting payment and literally no way to call them or have a direct conversation because there is no one available to help. My biggest complaint is contacting customer service is very difficult... At least when you finally get through they are friendly and try to help. But getting assistance is the same as a journey to the center of the earth.

To be honest

To be honest, I fine with the fighting but one game hurt me bad by making your own agency and have your leadership removed from you. If it wouldn't be fix soon I will not remanded this game my hero academia ultra rumble in the future. I wish I give it 0 stars.

Scam artists.

Scam artists.

Online webstore has deceptive practices, customer support will openly smile as their superiors empty your wallet in any way they can.

DO NOT PREORDER ANYTHING USING THEIR STORE. It will say "awaiting payment" and give you misleading information saying that you need to reorder. If you do reorder, and it is within 14 days of release, you CAN NOT cancel no matter what, even if it's within 5 seconds of placing the order. Customer service will "kindly" remind you to return the product, meaning you will have to pay for shipping yourself for a DUPLICATE order.

Never use this store. Boycott this outlet at all costs. They are awful scammers that don't care about customers to any extent.

Lost 300$ because of a misclick and misleading business practices. NEVER USE THIS STORE.
