Stay Away from Dr. Vikram Huded at Narayana Health, Bangalore India
I really wish I never had to write this, but I feel like I need to warn others. About 6 months ago, my friend’s dad had a brain aneurysm and needed surgery to block it. We decided to go to Narayana Health in Narayana Health City near EC, because we had a good experience with them a few years ago for heart surgery. But man, this was the worst decision ever.
Dr. Vikram Huded was the surgeon, and he seemed to be in charge of everything. The guy is nothing but money-minded. I get that hospitals need to make money, but this was on another level. He basically created problems out of nowhere, then started talking about our finances, making us feel like we had no choice but to spend whatever it took to fix things. He was a master at emotional blackmail.
The same surgery that could cost anywhere from 10 lakhs to 50 lakhs, depending on how much money he thought we had or how naive we were. He wouldn’t give us straight answers to any of our questions, and it felt like he was hiding a lot of information. We were stuck, struggling for days, and feeling more and more hopeless.
Finally, we decided to take a risk and went to Apollo Hospital. There, the surgery went smoothly, cost us just 6 lakhs, and the doctors were kind, honest, and actually cared about us. The difference was night and day. We felt so much more at ease, mentally and emotionally.
I just don’t want anyone else to go through the same nightmare. Please, stay away from Dr. Vikram Huded and Narayana Health. There are much better options out there. I learned this the hard way, and I hope no one else has to.
