Where do I start...

I've started a personal injury claim with them... slowly but something was happening until about mid January. The person dealing with my claim left, and the one replacing him failed to respond to numerous emails. Now I'm on the phone with them 3h05 min - says I'm first in the line(started as 4th) but I somehow doubt somebody will pick up the phone before the end of working day. The majority of these solicitor companies are bad and slow but just avoid them - they seem to be much worse than others.

Jokers

If I could give minus stars I would, I have for the past 2 years been chasing these people to actually get their finger out to deal with my claim. Every time they say they are going to do anything, I call back in a few weeks time to find out nothing has been done, the person dealing with the case has either left the company, gone on holiday, off ill for 6 months, moved to a different team, been in a car accident (yes I have been told that one too) or any other imaginable excuse you can think of. And with each excuse I am given, I have to wait a few months before I am assigned another case manager, and even then I have to keep calling them to actually speak to this magical new case manager and find out their name and get them to actually do something.

They dont answer emails or messages on the platform they give you either, so that's a complete waste of time.

I have had over 6 different case managers, 1 case manager has actually left the company 3 times apparently but they magically reappear again...they arnt even real lawyers but trainee paralegals who clearly have the slightest clue what they are doing.

Honestly, my case was a simple one and should have been done and dusted in a year...we are now at the 2 year mark and once again my case manager, who has already supposedly left the company 3 times already, is off work ill again, hasnt done what they said they were going to do 3 weeks ago and nobody knows whats going on with my claim....They are a complete joke...I'm tempted to drive down there and just do the job myself, as they clearly are completely incompetent at the basic of tasks...I have complained to National Injury Specialists and am waiting to hear if I can take this to a different law firm...I dont plan to spend the next few years of my life chasing up these jokers

Appalling service

DO NOT PURSUE YOUR CLAIM WTH NATIONAL LAW PARTNERS

Appalling service, incompetent staff and misleading advice.

Car accident - third party admitted liability. They offered me £3k to settle after treatment but I still hadn’t recovered. Contacted NLP and they gave me the sales pitch and naively I went with it. Almost 2 years later and after misleading advice suggesting my claim was worth more like £6.5k I’ve come away with £1.5k - half the original settlement offer!
Hidden fees and failure to disclose information on their part to consultants has left me feeling completely let down and left me with little money to pursue the ongoing treatment I require. In addition to this I have have already paid out nearly £1k in treatment costs myself which they have failed to recover for me despite making empty commitments they could recover this.

Hefty fees from winnings, slow service and poor communication

I went through a claim with National Law Partners and was refereed to them by the National Accident Helpline.

Basically I had an injury in the gym, which the gym immediately admitted liability, I was assessed by the Dr (in a hotel) and a fee was agreed.

They really pushed the insurance side so I had to pay them nearly £200 for that, which was completely unnecessary, furthermore they say they *can* take up to 25% of your winnings based on various factors, and they took that full 25%, more specifically a fee of £562.50 for a very low amount awarded.

Payments aside, the whole thing is mostly done on there "web portal", a lot of it feels automated, you rarely speak to a person, do not feel looked after or they're actively monitoring your case, on many occasions I had to contact them just for an update....

Unfortunately, I left it too late to do my research, but after googling them I can see why they've received bad reviews from other people and would not recommend them personally.

Furthermore, after doing research my case was so simple I could have done it myself and saved around £800, it would have likely been much quicker too - well, you live and learn I suppose.

The only saving grace is that the case was successful (hence 2 stars as opposed to 1) but that wasn't much of an achievement as the insurance company admitted liability immediately.
