I homeschool my 9 year old daughter and I was looking for an English tutor, so I approached the national learning group. We were matched with a wonderful tutor Sian Davis who has been absolutely incredible. My daughter had very little confidence in reading and writing and with the guidance from Sian she is now doing wonderful and has grown in confidence every week. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough the service from joining up, to the tutor sessions and the whole process has been great.

My son started working with Sian Davis at the beginning of this year. He is 6 years old ( year 1) and been struggling at school in all aspects.
Quite quickly Sian built a repoir with my son and made him feel at ease.
Initially we started with English and have now started introducing some maths
Within a month he was getting more certificates at school and comments from the teachers even a postcard from the head teacher. There has been a marked improvement in his English
Sian is always very patient especially when my son decides to have a
meltdown. She has a way to get children back on track and focused. She has been a real blessing

My son has been having maths tuition with Elena Matveeva for some time now and Elena has strengthened my son’s confidence and abilities in all areas, supporting him when he makes mistakes and tackling those obstacles. I would highly recommend Elena, very personable, reliable and punctual. Thank you.

We have been using NLG since March 2024 to help my son with spelling. His tutor is Victoria Knapp. In just over a year, with one lesson a week, Victoria went back to re-teach our son phonics and has gradually built him up to doing Year 6 SATs practice tests. He is achieving scores now that we never really imagined would be possible. I cannot thank Victoria enough for the impact she has had on our son's confidence and spelling ability. I would recommend her to anyone.

My daughter has had a few months tutoring with Yoana Nikolova and she has been fantastic. She has worked on the area's she needed help with for her English, gave her homework and supported her mentally to get build up her confidence. I can't thank Yoana enough for her hard work, support and friendship with my daughter. You will be missed!

Jayden is enjoying his turoring with Shannah. She's really patient and has a relaxed presence. This is good as it don't seem like a teacher talking at the students. She has helped him so much and would highly recommend her!

We cannot recommend our tutor, Aveline enough. Our son had maths tutoring with Aveline and his understanding and grades improved significantly as a result.

Blake really enjoyed his lessons with Yoana, who is a lovely tutor. Blake finds English challenging but he progressed quickly with Yoana. Thank you!

Marley had missed a great deal of school and the NLG was a way for them to get back into the system of GSCE lessons and learning. Tutor Martin Boyle was exceptional; both skilled and empathetic, and Marley enjoyed his lessons.

My daughter was tutored by Lynn Golding and has now been able to stop her lessons due to the amount she had learned from Lynn. Lynn is a very reliable, polite and good tutor and I would recommend her to anyone x

NLG initially spoke with us about our child about the support she needed and also about her personality and previous experience of on line learning through COVID. So a little about lacking confidence in maths which started to cause anxiety..moving forward to Iqra her teacher immediately started to build a relationship showing an interest in our little one and doing an initially assesment teaching her methods within maths making sure little one understood and also challenged her learning. To now..little one is so much more confident.understands different methods has had such a positive in line learning and looking forward with confidence to do her SATs this year .as her parents we thank you so much.

My experience with the national learning group has been great. I have definitely improved academically with my school work. all thanks to the National Learning Group. and a personal thanks to kareem.

My grandchild has hugely benefitted from GCSE lessons with highly-skilled and empathetic tutor, Martin Boyle. Having missed quite a bit of schooling, Martin made their return to study a very positive experience. We hope to re-engage with lessons in the not-to-far future. Thank you Martin.

Thank you Rojin Genc for helping my nephew Alexander to obtain excellent results in his recent chemistry mocks. His least favourite subject and one he was struggling with. He tells me he understands your lessons and explanations, which are very clear and you are a good teacher. Thank you

Our Grandson, has found his sessions to be valuable and he has really enjoyed his sessions with Cara. We hope to be able to take up tutoring with Cara again at some point in the near future. Each session has been constructive, informative and enjoyable. Thank you Cara for all your hard work!

After spending many months with Ummay - who herself sacrificed countless hours helping me with my English language, it has definitely paid off. My time with Ummay has helped me significantly improve my fluency and analytical skills in English. She has helped me regain faith for my upcoming GCSEs and looking back to where I was at beginning of year 11 compared to now with less than a few months to go to my GCSEs, I've never felt more confident. The only thing I regret is not starting sooner :)

My daughter is in year 11 and has been moved to a higher maths group but she missed a lot of content due to moving up a level. She has been having lessons with Kareem Abughazza for a few weeks now and her grades are better and she’s a lot more confident about maths now. She said that Kareem explains things much better than her maths teacher at school. I would highly recommend the national learning group and Kareem.

Since taking my son out of school only a month ago he has learned more into this short time than he did the past two years his maths teacher hira yasir is really patient and good at what she does and also his English teacher Rebecca tejerina is getting more progress out of him then his year 8 teacher ever could
