Unexpectedly received a stunning proof 1oz gold eagle for a remarkable price. I am very satisfied with this coin, my only bad thought is the unusually large plastic case it came in, while attracive, just too big for a small coin.

I was hesitant at first based on some online reviews and the unorthodox nature of the shopping process on their website; however, everything went smoothly and I was satisfied with the price, delivery times and the product.

BAIT AND SWITCH! They sent me a flyer by mail offering a 1oz AGE for $4700 (with spot value being $5000 at the time the letter was printed). (Received in the mail advertisement Saturday Afternoon). The letter said that the offer is valid for 30 days and that they have 24/7 phone agents to place the order. When I called them immediately after receiving the letter, their automated system said no agents are available and to leave a message. I did, never got a call the following day so I had to call back yet again Sunday afternoon. I finally got ahold of an agent who said "Oh, we're closed, you'll have to call back tomorrow to place the order." I did, and then the agent claimed that since the price of gold went up $150/oz, the maximum he could honor was $200 under spot. (As opposed to $300 under spot like the letter originally offered me).

I feel as if they purposely delayed this process and baited me in to offer me a worse deal. During times of extreme volatility where gold has been fluctuating up to $500 per day, it is not worth it.

They gave me no option to order directly from their website using the offer code.

The company has excellent customer service. Always prompt in communicating my concerns.

Price was very good for the 1 ounce gold coin. It was delivered as promised.

Angie is wonderful. Bought my first purchase with nationwide. Was skeptical at first because they make you give them payment over the phone. After proceeding, I called back with concerns. Angie walked me through everything and was great at answering all my questions. Received my order after 2.5 weeks. Very pleased!

Everything was good enough for a 5-star rating but for one thing that caused me to drop to 4 stars. The shipment was quite tardy, about 3 weeks after my order was placed.
