If I converted my time into dollars, the cable ended up costing me hundreds of dollars. But it is important to hold companies accountable and put their feet to the fire. Perhaps this will make their policies and they way that they handle customers worse, not better, since they have another roadmap about how their warranty policy needs to be updated to avoid handling claims that serve the interest of their customers, or hopefully, the way that they handle their claims and customer complaints will revert to how my claim on my other cable was handled two years ago–with professionalism and courtesy.
The important thing is to research thoroughly, in real time, a company and their products to get the best products and services available.

EBAY now offers a two year warranty that you would need to purchase in addition to the product. Unfortunately, two years would not have been enough time to cover a warranty for Native Union's inferior products.

ORIGINAL COMPLAINT: Bought two cables: Native Union Belt Cable Universal - 6.5ft Ultra-Strong Reinforced [MFi Certified] Durable Charging Cable with 3-in-1 Adaptor for Lightning, USB-C and Micro USB. Connectors keep coming loose.
Native Union only had to replace one of two DEFECTIVE cables. The USB-C connector stopped working and I filed a claim. Native Union says that they do not cover their cables bought from EBAY. Native Union replaced one of two cables (see below), and we wired the connectors together on the cable that was not replaced so that we would only use the USB-C connector.
Strange, since they replaced one of the cables bought from EBAY back in 2024. (see below).

Their products are pure CRAP!
We will never purchase anything from this company again. As they are unable to manufacture a quality product that does not fall apart; they change their policies to avoid their responsibilities to the consumer.
AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Native Union is flooding me with emails asking me about my experience with them. I have sent 3 emails with documentation, including the receipt, a video, an image and updated information. Now they are asking for the original listing. This is the new "wrinkle." Native Union is trying to exhaust me by flooding me with daily email requests while asking for a rating in separate emails about my experience.
In trying to avoid fulfilling their claims, Native Union is stating that if the product is not listed as "new", the claim is invalid and will not be covered by their Limited Lifetime Warranty--no matter that the cables were in NEW condition and were packaged in SEALED, UNDAMAGED boxes.
Now they are saying that the cables were on sale and are not eligible for a warranty, even though prior claim offered to replace both cables which were defective.
I will continue to follow-up on their ridiculous requests and will update this review as needed.
Low Quality Native Union Products
I bought so many of their charging cables — the 240W 3-meter ones (the black and white long cables) and the green Lightning-to-Type-C cable (I forgot the exact name). I even bought two of their black 140W charging bricks.
They all broke very quickly, within 1 to 1.5 years. One of the 140W chargers’ cables shorted for no apparent reason.
This charger has a serious design flaw: its dynamic charging and current-distribution system gets messed up when you connect multiple cables at the same time, resulting in severely disproportionate charging power. I’m talking about cases where an unused cable tricks the brick into thinking it needs power, which then prevents it from supplying enough power to the devices that are actually in use.
On top of that, their charging cables are clumsy and poorly built — they break far too easily.
Don’t buy from them.

Again ordered a package of charging belt cables usb-a to lightening and native Union shipped incorrectly, as well native Union charging premium prices offering lifetime warranties with the belt charge cords then after the fact changing the warranties to limited time and not honoring the warranty sold with the product nor offering a full refund in lieu internal changes, absolutely an unacceptable business practice from a terrible company!!

I always expect quality products from this brand and they deliver each and every time.
I have experienced their whole range of accessories, and as an Apple enthusiast I must say that Native Union really blends well with the design language of Apple.

Purchased the rise 3-in-1 charging stand and the iPhone 15 Pro classic case and magnetic card holder. Very happy with all 3 products, especially the charging stand. Having my iPhone in standby mode and my watch charging together versus separate cables is great!

Really nice products!
I ordered the Voyage 2-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charger × 1 and the (Re)Classic Power Bank Magnetic | Emilie Sarnel Limited Edition × 1. The order was split in to 2 deliveries but both orders arrived within a week. I am a fan of their products and am very happy with both these items. The only reason for the 4 stars rating (and not a 5 star rating) is that my on line order qualified for free shipping but my order was processed within the shipping cost included. Customer services were very prompt in arranging the shipping cost refund.

Still no item -resolved
After a couple more exchanges with NU the problem below was resolved. Rating changed from 1 to 4 stars (poor customer experience this time but their products are of a very high quality). Still no item, no response – very disappointing experience
I ordered an iPhone case and battery pack from Native Union, and the parcel was marked as “delivered to reception” — except I work from home and have no reception.
I’ve contacted Native Union three times now and have received zero response or resolution. It’s incredibly frustrating that a company with such a premium image has non-existent customer service.
Until this is resolved, I can’t recommend buying directly from them. Poor communication and no accountability for missing orders.
